I have to agree with you on this. They're not really that creepy just... bad. Whoever created the costumes did a horrible job on them.

Lucky ! Over here we just get Beauty and the Beast, Toy Story, Princess and the Frog, Dumbo and Enchanted over and over again. About most bland princess that's Aurora not Belle. Aurora just sings and dances, Disney didn't give her much screentime or character growth at all.
