It's about time they gave this the dvd treatment. The cover art may not be spectacular, but the content will more than make up for it.

Because the nephews said to have seen Donald's films so many times already. Personally, I always get a kick out of Donald no matter how many times I watch his cartoons .

Oh I know this. It's from a Wonderful World of Disney episode called 'At Home with Donald Duck'. I have it on a very old laserdisc (34 years), Donald eventually gets to show one of his cartoons at the end (Sea Salts).

Don't know if anyone saw this Disney Jr. Schedule The channel's programming schedule is anchored by the new original series "Doc McStuffins" (weekdays at 4:00 and 7:30 p.m., weekends at 10:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.), favorites "Jake and the Never Land Pirates" (weekdays at 5:30 and ...

I agree to those who say this sponge has overstayed his welcome, though Spongebob still remains better than most of the Nicktoons in my opinion (except for Penguins of Madagascar and maybe TUFF Puppy, though Legend of Korra is coming out soon so there's another). Maybe this movie will be the true se...

Re: Disney movies on television regularly

I'm currently watching the television premiere of The Princess and the Frog on Disney Channel, and Tangled Ever After is coming on right afterwards. Although I'm loving this airing, I wonder isn't it too soon? I remember a decade ago, one would have to wait about 5 years before seeing a new movie o...

Re: Is Hand Drawn Animation Dead Again?

Forgive me if this part of my obsession, but is hand drawn animation dead again because The Princess and the Frog and Winnie the Pooh are box office failures? :( This sort of question comes up every couple months or so (not just this site, but basically almost all the animation forums I've seen/bee...

Thanks, but I don't need to be lectured by random strangers on internet forums. There was nothing "ill-tempered" about my original post. That you took it that way, has nothing to do with me, my character or my first impression, but has got everything to do with the way you interpret thing...

I'm Dutch. The Dutch are notoriously blunt. It's a national trait. I went into detail above in my reply to an ill-tempered Goliath. How the fuck was I "ill-tempered"?! :? Seriously. :? Yeah, I'm ill-tempered NOW! But I think I'm entitled to be, after such an unsupported accusation from a ...

Six? There's only Wreck-It Ralph, Frozen and King of the Elves in development at Walt Disney Animation Studios You've got your facts wrong. First of all, Wreck-It Ralph is not in development, it's in production . Secondly, the Mickey Mouse feature is no longer being developed at the moment hence it...

So maybe Sotiris's facts are sometimes true and not true? Exactly. But as I said, he may be right about John Lasseter giving up on hand drawn animation, even though it sounds very ambiguous to do so seeing he was the one who promised the return of hand drawn at Disney. Unless someone here personall...

The reason the last 2 hand drawn films weren't a booming success at the box office was that poor marketing was put in those two films (especially the latter). No, that's an excuse made up by 2D enthusiasts/Disney fanatics to avoid having to admit they were weak films. If you have a strong film, the...

Yes, but that requires the film actually being in development. According to the sources, the film has been shelved, at least temporarily. The project did not proceed beyond the pitching stage which either means the story was not strong enough or the studio did not wish to pursue the project (either...

Both Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and the Have a Laugh segments are garbage. They should just devote at least an hour to some classic cartoons per day, like they did with Mickey's Mouse Tracks and Donald's Quack Attack. If Cartoon Network can bring back Looney Tunes, there's no reason The Disney Channel ...

Hmmm good question. But my point is, there is as in now, that there is no evidence that if the new Mickey Mouse movie should be CG. So it may be possible for Burny Mattison sake will be hand drawn. And that's the only indicator you'll need, I know this post is a bit late, but honestly, loo...
