The bookstore picture posted by DancingCrab reminded me of something I saw @ Den of Geek: Off the back of its significant success in the US, Disney's latest animated feature, Tangled, arrives in the UK finally this weekend. It's a lovely film, too, and a fitting one to be the studio's 50th official ...

Tangled: Alternate Opening http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mE2c9GcDbrM&feature=player_embedded ...I think it would have been a great storybook feel without being bland or too basic. If the book looked anything like Claire Keane's concept (in the Art of book) I'm sure it would've been fine.

I don't think he's showing any preference towards Despicable Me, I think he's just saying what he feels are the particular strengths of the two films and he doesn't say that he finds Tangled's story weak or inferior. I agree. The character animation is one of the biggest highlights of the movie - a...

Chris Sanders, talking 'bout the Awards and HTTYD... So its the morning after the Oscars. Just to get it out of the way, we obviously didn't come away with gold, but seriously had a great time nonetheless. They always say that just being nominated is an honor, and its true. This has been an amazing ...

Although it's been a good year for animated films there weren't enough as far as stretching the amount of films nominated. Do you think they'll force the Academy to solidify the Best Animated Feature category to 5 films as a result of this?[/i] I think they should. I think they need to. Before the ...

Little things I noticed during my... fourth viewing.

- - Ulf the mime. The 'Oh noes!' face he makes behind the pillar when the captain of the guard enters the pub - priceless.

- - Is it just me, or did that skeleton in the tunnel resemble a certain young Viking? :)

Tangled 3x. A month ago, last night with the fam, and today with some friends. And I still love it. -Oh and I know someone mentioned it already, but the Greno bit in the pub was awesome. -Really, really impressed with the last two princesses. I enjoy watching characters like Tiana -a hard-working yo...

The Princess and the Frog
It may not have the best opening, but the atmosphere, Anika's song, and the storytelling... I don't know, it just makes me smile.

EDIT: For those who are interested, I tried to re-arrange the songs on the soundtrack in the order they come up in the actual movie (because personally I just like hearing them in order! Nope, it's drawn/inked/colored by many different people. But it's a wonderful little book.
