I think a lot of the time, with celebrity voice actors, it comes down to scheduling. Though some of the more recently productions have done more with the cast in the room together. I believe the Simpson's cast works together too. I think you're right that it would lead to better acting. But since it...

If I might be so bold... This is a new comedy music video I just released. And no, it has nothing to do with black people. :) <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/BXsmd0WSPDQ" frameborder="0"...

Yep, I got the same mistaken package in the mail. Mine doesn't expire until June, but I couldn't remember exactly when I'd re-upped.

The watch is pretty nice. :)

I'll definitely have to pick this one up. Artist bios that cover the good and the bad are always useful educational opportunities. :) For the second time I have just finished reading Beyond the Garage the self-penned autobiography of Sean Bonniwell of The Music Machine, the proto-typical garage band...

I just finished Freaks and Geeks (the one and only season). Such a shame that show didn't last longer. Fantastic writing and character development. The extras were nothing to write home about.

Getting started on Deadwood season 3 now. :)

While those services may be hurting, I think they had to do it. The mistake the music industry made was not doing something like that early enough. So everyone began stealing the songs instead and now no one wants to pay for them At least people are paying something for the movies. With the right ki...

Man, that's a tough one. I'm not a gamer at all, so I couldn't give any advice on the game itself. But I am in the entertainment business. And that entails taking criticism and rejection on a daily basis. For myself, when I see a bad review of my work, I try to look at it objectively and see if ther...

I don't know of any big places. We've got a couple little shops around here that take them. You might check used book stores that buy stuff too. They often have a DVD section.

Lately I've been trading them on SwapADVD. Since stores don't pay much, I can at least pick out something new. :)

As much as I love trolling a good record store, hard copy media stores are definitely on the way out. The only places you can get stuff like that now are the big box stores, and they're shrinking the floor space for them quickly. Physical media still has at least another decade in it, but it'll beco...

I'm totally unfamiliar with the Discworld series. Have to go dig it up. Though it doesn't surprise me that they're trying something a little darker, considering what they're doing with Mickey and such lately. Maybe they're figuring Black Cauldron was ahead of it's time and the public is more ready f...

It's really a shame. Greg was really funny and a very nice guy from what I hear. Most comics have nothing but good stories about him.

It does make sense... I just wish we had a choice other than MP3. The sound quality is just so bad as soon as you hear it on some decent speakers. That's one of the cool things about Band Camp. You get your choice of formats.

Though I guess Pixar isn't using Band Camp. :)

I'll definitely see them. The 3D is kind of a cool bonus. But anytime you can see the original trilogy on the big screen is a treat.

I don't really care to have 3D at home until they can do it without glasses. I tried out Sony's in Vegas last week and it wasn't that great.

I'm in the midst of "Naked In Dangerous Places" by Cash Peters who's a very reluctant adventure travel writer. Very funny.

And sitting on my desk to be read next is Luminous Dark Alleys, the new book and CD from Tah Phrum Duh Bush.

I recently sat down and listened to her first album and liked it. I love the sense of humor in some of her songs. Duh, considering my own career. But California Gurls didn't do it for me. Vapid pop music. Sure, good for the summer season, but I don't think that song will have the staying power of so...

I too am stoked to see Del Toro on the case for this one. Pan's Labyrinth scared the heck out of my girlfriend and I thought it was fantastic.

I can only hope that Eddie Murphy just stops doing camp films and goes back to doing stand-up (as he's been hinting at lately).

We saw it yesterday and I liked it. Agree that the first two trailers didn't do it justice. There's more story than meets the eye. Some of the humor is corny pop-culture stuff, but presented in a way that supposed to be corny. And since my girlfriend's name is Agnes, we had a few extra laughs compar...
