Last night I watched the Rutt and Tuke commentary on my Brother Bear DVD.

In the beginning chapter, 'Denahi remembers' the old Denahi starts to talk in his native language, then a narrative voice over starts talking. The subtitles call him 'Sitka.' This happens at the ending narrative of old Denahi at the ending of the movie as well.
