It means it's not anamorphic, ie 16:9. I haven't measured it, but the picture on my DVD looks closer to 1,66:1 although the back cover claims it's 1,85:1. So I do have the DVD version with the proper intended/teathrical aspect ratio? Nope, it's just PAL speedup. PAL picture runs 25 frames per secon...

I guess it wount help you to know if it is a large problem or just a small one just for you. What you have to do is to contact the store where you bought it and ask what to do. They should send you a new copy of it. Well, if it's a problem with all the discs, then asking for a replacement copy won'...
