Obama may have served in the Senate longer than Palin has been vp, but Palin has more executive experience, which is more important in running a country.

Thank goodness my insider was wrong! (on the Tom Feeney campaign for Congress). Sarah Palin was one I watched the last few months. Last july 16 I wrote a short article explaining why Palin would be the best choice for the VP. Most importantly, she solidifies the GOP. Paleconservatives, state rights ...

I wonder if the show will be cancelled? Or will Phillips and Scott take over? (the two major guests that replaced Ebert).

Hopefully Rebecca and Notorious will be separate. The press release states that Rebecca , Notorious , and Spellbound are getting separate releases ($19.98 SRP). Lifeboat is already available separately, and the other four titles ( The Lodger , The Paradine Case , Sabotage , and Young and Innocent )...

I still don't see how many animated movies will improve when it comes to Blu-Ray. I'll have to see the difference for Sleeping Beauty. There's a difference. When I first got Enchanted I watched the DVD at my house and then two days later I watched the Blu-Ray at my girlfriend's. The colors are just...

I'm definately gonna give blu ray a shot with some of the older animated movies (before the 90s). But if I don't see a great improvement, the only way I'll update to blu ray (for those movies) is if regular dvd goes inferior.

Criterion is the best releasing company, giving the best transfers and director approved material. Special features are prominent.

Many of the movies are not well known to general viewers but are to movie buffs.

I only currently own two titles: Days of Heaven and The Royal Tenanbaums.

Hopefully Rebecca and Notorious will be separate. If not I'll just buy their Criterions on ebay (should go down after this release in price).

The whole set is too expensive for me.

How can people comdemn Helms but yet support Obama? Obama wants to enslave every American with tons of taxes, he wants to enlarge the IRS, and send more Americans to war. He wants to force us against our beliefs into learning multiple languages, he wants us to be wiretapped, and wants to use capital...

Re: I hope it'd happen!!

This has just occurred to me after reading the news on the Treasures and the comment by Leonard Maltin on the other forem. Does anyone think that Disney might release a DVD similar to the Pixar shorts one, only including some of the Disney label stuff from the past ten to fifteen years. As well as ...

Too be fair, Dreamworks certainly didn't invent the slap-stick in animation. That goes way back what some people refer to as the "glory days" of animation going back to Looney Tunes and Chuck Jones. Oh yes, I definately understand. I was just referring to the current "Dreamworks"...

Jo Rowling probably based part of her books on Senator Helms. Take out the name Jesse Helms insert Lucius Malfoy. Take out the N word insert mudblood. Did Jesse have a kid named Draco? Lucious Malfoy was very authoritarian while Jesse Helms was not. Yes, his personal bigotry on some levels (not as ...
