So the reviews are out... and it seems the blu ray included in the 4K release has the old transfer. Dammit! I guess I will not be buying this: I bought Cinderella and SW for the new transfers on the regular blu rays... I don't own nor foresee owning a 4K player. Booooo Disney!

It does look good... but I would prefer it if they used a mix of puppets/animatronics and CGI so it doesn't look so obviously fake.

I am relieved... I was terrified Pixar was going to mess this one up. They didn't. No spoilers. I thought the movie was excellent and very much a worthy sequel to the original. Honestly, neither scene scared me. But the queen's transformation was (and still is) my favorite part of that movie.

Damn... I thought I was going to hate it... but I heard it, and it's great. I think it fits the tone of the movie and the ride perfectly.

I watched him perform live 9 years ago... at age 86! And he was AMAZING. Sang, played the piano, told stories... full of energy and life.
