I just can't warm up to the idea of adding songs to the Black Cauldron. I feel adding songs just for the sake of trying kidify the film would have added even more complexity to the many challenges the film already faced trying to break out of the Disney typical formula film. Its just not a song type...

The Black Cauldron is either a film you love or hate there really isn't much room inbetween. I happen to love it! Of course it has flaws (mostly in the story). Visually it is a FEAST!
