It's hilarious to me that this film is being marketed as a modern reinvention of Cinderella as if that concept was new. It's been done for years if not decades. They still won the case Haha.. I am sure that Mattel could have ignored that, changed her name and make the film anyway but I'm sure Disney would have punished them by taking their licence away from them for the Disney dolls and other toys.
