Sorry to say I was sorely disappointed. Despite occasional flurries of amusement, I did'nt find it all that funny and the overall character design was mediocre at best.

One reason that "Final Fantasy" failed so appallingly was because it was rendered in that "hyper reality" CGI style.........UGGH! All bells and whistles but no real sense of the characters being ALIVE. Flat, emotionless, expressionless, just like staring at a plastic doll sitting...

I actually got the crazy idea    that they should make a remake movie to Bambi. Call it Bambi: A Life in the Woods, if you get my drift and have the movie some what explicitly follow the book unlike the original. I mean have the actuall characters in the book and put them in the m...

Think we've made our point...........could you imagine someone creating an animated film of Bambi that was adapted and I mean REALLY adapted from the book with all those elements intact? I'm not talking about sensationalizing the violence in the book for the sake of it, I'm talking about a beautiful...

there is no way the original Bambi was kiddified, it was one of the most intense movies ever made and I have seen a crapload of horror movies. Sure it had cute moments for kids, but nowdays it would be Rated R for intense sequences of terror. Are you kidding? Have you ever read the book??? Believe ...

Hey what you want I'm busy with school and I bet Isidour is busy too. :P Anyways, yeah the characters are modernized but what did you expect really? It's not like they're going to use the same techonology and what not that they used making the original movie to make the new movie. And society has c...

So am I......."Bambi" has always been my #1 all time favourite and I guess that's one of the main reasons I'm so hyper-critical of the sequel. As for seeing a "Bambi's Children" that would be absolutely wonderful! It's a terrific story with such endless possibilities that they co...

Regarding the "sub-par animation quote".....for the most part, you are correct in saying that the overall quality of the animation is excellent. Unfortunately, that quality is a little inconsistant when it comes to the new characters we meet in this film, namely Ronno, the gopher and the p...

I agree 1000% with what Tascar says about the film..........talk about spot ON! The beauty about the original "Bambi" was that it's a story about nature told in a humanistic way but without comprimising the fact that these are ANIMALS and not humans we're looking at ....that's what made Fe...

Bambi II... I seen it, I seen it, Pa!

Well, kiddies......... those horrific visions I had of Bambi, Thumper and Flower line-dancing in their ghetto-rap outfits with Britt-nnnneighhhhh caterwauling in the backround this past year were all for naught. Courtesy of a friend, I got to watch "Bambi II" and I ***coughcoughchokeonword...

The more news I hear about this the worse I feel about it. "Diz Down Under" may've finally gotten their chops together( great example, "Stitch has a Glitch") but for them to monkey about with the legacy of such a masterpiece and "update it for a new and hip generation" ...

Stitch has a Glitch......I LIKE it!!

Watching my copy of "Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch has a Glitch" and I gotta say I am suitably impressed! From what I've seen so far, it's got all the charm of the original and the quality of the animation is the best I've ever seen from Disney Down Under...dare I say it, it's good enough for ...

Story is weak and so is character movement. ! Very true when compared to the feature animation dept (may they rest in peace) and their work, but much better than when compared to Diznee Down Under's other output...case in point ( shuuuddddddderrrr)"Cinderella ll". Backgrounds are detailed...

Tarzan ll....what's your opinion?

I'm watching it as I type this, and all I can say is so far I'm VERY pleasantly surprised. The colors are lush and pretty true to the original, the animation is probably some of the best I've seen to come out of the Mouse Down Under (Disneytoons Australia) so far and the story seems to be alright......
