I am glad that Kodak '59 is on here, but had been anticpating that it would be in color.... Being "Kodak", I would have thought they would of taped the show in bright beautiful colors for future showings. Oh well... At the time of the "Disneyland '59" broadcast, color telecasts ...

I can't top what others have said but I just HAD to include my tip-o'-the-hat.

As someone earlier mentioned it is indeed a sad commentary that so many of us were ready to believe it. I'll fess up that I completely bought paint boy and sushi girl...but the perverted mad-matter was too much...

Since there are some younguns out there... The original black-and-white "Mickey Mouse Club" aired weekday afternoons on ABC (the show was filmed at the Disney Studios in Burbank, as opposed to childrens' series like "Howdy Doody" done live from NBC Studios in New York). Each &quo...

Neat topic! The big props do indeed go to Charlotte's Web, a film that I saw on TV at age 5 or 6..yes, I cried like a little wuss. How can you not??!! "Snoopy Come Home" also made me cry as a wee tot. The big going-away party scene...(sob) Getting back on topic, I think "The Brave Lit...

"Mickey's Christmas Carol"...I'm Slightly Peeved.

Is anyone else the teensiest bit peeved about Disney's "double-dip" of Mickey's Christmas Carol? Maybe I'm just really cheap...appropriate when talking about the Scrooge story, I guess. But I'm willing to admit upfront that I purchased that "Snowed In At The House of Mouse" deall...

Great info just added on the front page...they LOOK like 2-disc Vault Disneys (same amount and style of extras) but it doesn't say that they're 2-discs...anybody know?

1. Song of the South 2. Mary Poppins 3. The Absent-Minded Professor 4. The Shaggy Dog "Professor" was, I believe, the first all-live-action comedy Disney produced, and its success had a huge effect on the studio's future live-action output. As such, I'm surprised they gave it the colorized...

I voted for Mickey Mouse Club...but in the spirit of honesty, I imagine I would fork it over for any of those except "Zorro." What I would like to see them do at some point is a sort of "career retrospective" of characters like Donald and Mickey. Show us their progression over th...

The Disney Channel....Yeesh.

Greetings! Sorry if this is better suited somewhere else, but I'm new to this whole thing. The capabilities of DVD have reawakened my interest in the Disney Studio, especially the Vault Disney and Treasures series. (Spent darn near 4 hours last night on disc 2 of "20,000 LUTS"!) What's got...
