I never watched the show when it was on but will buy it a) because I've heard great things about it and b) I want to support Disney TV on DVD.

If Darkwing ever comes to DVD, I may die of joy.

PS: What's the news source?

Just out of Disney, it'd have to be "Disney on the Frontlines." Which is a lie. I'd never be able to just pick one WDT.
And that'd probably be my overall choice, too.

Hercules 2: The Trojan War
Oy! There's already an absolutely great TV series out there! C'mon!
Clerks: Sell Out (Miramax Film)
But this one I'm dying for.

I'd spend a couple hundred dollars to get a complete run of Darkwing Duck.
DuckTales, Rescue Rangers, Bonkers, I'd all go for.

I still agree. While yes, I have absolutely NO interest in this film whatsoever, the fact that "Kangaroo Jack" did infinitely better is depressing and a major blow to traditional animation.

-Widescreen-to-Fullscreen Comparison Anyone else absolutely thrilled about this? I know they've done printed stuff before, but this should really be nice. I also like the newer cover art a little better. This is, in my opinion, one of the best looking films in history and can't wait to own it on DV...

I doubt that the Disney Store employee knows what he/she is talking about. They're really toward the bottom of the Disney totem pole. It would be all over the internet, were there any news from Disney. I'll bet that we eventually see it in another region, but whether it makes it out on Region 1 is a...

Well, I think that kind of classification is kind of meaningless anyway. I think "Three Caballeros" is a LOT more of a classic/masterpiece than, say, "Atlantis."
Now if we could get all those released uncut, they'd all be in my collection...

I'm just going to stick to the feature-length "animated classics."

1) The Great Mouse Detective
2) Beauty and the Beast
3) Alice in Wonderland

As far as the animation goes, I love the different styles we get. It could be a lot worse: Think how all of Dreamworks' characters look the exact friggin' same! Everytime I start saying Disney's gone downhill, I have to admit that there has been some really good stuff lately. "Hercules" is...

You're thinking of "Mickey's Birthday Party" (1942). Great short. Probably be on the next Treasures release. If I remember correctly, it's a remake of a short on Black & White (which one, I don't recall).

Looks like the possibly upcoming "Mickey Mouse in Living Color 2" (I think it's more or less official) will probably contain the rest of his shorts and featurettes. Since it doesn't look like quite as many as were on the first disc, I hope we might get a really thorough documentary of sort...

Animated. I'm not sure if I even own any live action Disney films (though I plan on getting "Pollyanna" soon). My "Complete Goofy" set gets a lot of play.

I haven't seen a "Complete Goofy" since February. Amazon has some Behind the Scenes and Disneyland USAs... I bought all my Wave 2s at the Disney Store an hour after they opened on release date. I'm actually going to take the day off of work this year to do the same (and then go home and wa...

I will buy virtually anything Disney releases under this label. I'm most looking forward to "Wartime Disney" because it might have shorts that have been locked away for a long time ("Der Fuhrer's Face," anybody?). But Donald's cartoons have always been my favorite and I'd love to...
