I would have to say that I would be in the group that would love to see "Hunchback" rereleased as a special edition of some sort, be it a Platinum Collection or whatever. I believe this is one of Disney's most underrated classics in recent memory and I think it should get the priority trea...

All-Region DVD Players?

Hello everyone, These questions are to those who have a multi-region DVD player. What brand do you have? How much did it cost? Did the player have to be modified to be able to be unlocked? Is the model you have still available for purchase? I am realllllly looking into trying to get one, but I don't...

Disposable DVDs

I read an article where Disney is planning on trying a new kind of DVD format. The idea behind it is mainly for rental people... they buy a dvd and within 48 hours of it being opened, the disc will "self destruct". A special chemical in the DVD burning process will react to the oxygen when...

"The Jungle Book 2" comes without an insert, and mine came without the advertised free child's admission ticket to "Finding Nemo".

"The Love Bug", despite being a 2-disc Special Edition, has NO insert either. :-(

Can't Buy Me Love is pure '80s fun. I'm glad I got a sample disc for free, as there's no way I'd pay for the Fullscreen, barebones crap. Great movie, though. :) I have always really enjoyed "Can't Buy Me Love"... and its great to run across someone else who likes it to. :-) Sadly, it...

I still wonder why Disney gives their sequel drek Widescreen transfers when The Muppets are considered to have no adult appeal. Give me a freaking break, Disney. Muppet Christmas Carol is a masterpiece, Muppet Treasure Island is a hilarious comedy. These great films deserve better treatment than th...

"Love Bug"... "Bruce Campbell" please tell me more! Bruce is one of the overlooked superstars of film (along with Jason Lee). I met Bruce Campbell last Fall at a horror movie convention, promoting his "If Chins Could Kill" paperback book. He is supremely funny, while b...

It is really becoming a sad state of affairs when we have to hope that our dvds will come with inserts. Not only Disney (and Miramax/Dimension), but Universal has also discontinued inserts on some titles...

What are the companies thinking?

Hello, Thanks for directing me to the FAQ. As a new visitor to the site and message board, it looks like I have become one of those annoying "newbies" who just blurts out already-asked/discussed questions that I often hate on other boards I go to. For that, I do apologize. :-) I love this ...

Hi Luke, again, :-) The next movie I am planning on seeing is "The Fox and the Hound"... I have found myself to be such a sucker for movies about animals and friendship. But you are absolutely right -- Disney makes the best animated movies with so much heart and warmth. I could kick myself...

"Family Friendly" widescreen

I don't know if this has been discussed on here or not, and if it has, I do apologize. What does everyone think of Disney's "Family Friendly Widescreen" they use on certain DVDs? I have noticed this on "Return to Neverland" and, most recently, "The Jungle Book 2". Does ...

Thanks for your help, Luke. I guess I'll try to apply online. The only reason I ws trying to sign up via regular mail was that I do not have a credit card that isn't maxed out or set aside for emergency purposes only. What is one of your favorite Disney animated movies? I love "The Hunchback of...

Best Disney Sequel?

Hello, This is my first post here as I have recently discovered the magic and value of Disney movies. As a 27 year old male, I have avoided many Disney movies just because I was a stupid guy who refused to acknowledge that they were good and not just for kids. Anyways, I am trying to build a solid l...
