Re: Frozen: Part V

I'd love for someone with some influence to make a stink. I eventually caved and bought the UK version of the 3D Blu-ray (same with Maleficent). I would not have purchased either movies at all if it wasn't for that option (and even then, it was with much hesitation- for instance, I don't get any Di...

Re: Frozen: Part V

Frozen isn't going to get a feature-length sequel. Shorts, maybe. But not feature-length. The movie has enough appeal to allow for the sustained success of Frozen merchandise and media. Money that could've been spent on a Frozen sequel will be much better spent producing another intellectual propert...

Re: Frozen: Part V

So besides the Edelweiss/Disney marketing materials revealing two Frozen books being released (one October 7 and one October 14) leading up to the 3D Blu-ray release (no sooner than Oct 14), WDSHE has begun responding to inquiries and confirming that a "Frozen 3D Special Edition" will be c...

Re: Frozen: Part V

I'm disappointed that I didn't get the bonus disc, despite getting my copy at target I thought my local Target didn't even have their special edition until I moved some BRs around and saw the Target sticker. I'm surprised there weren't more of their own edition; there was a significantly large amou...

Re: Frozen: Part V

I hope you can't wear out a CD, because I can't count the times that I have listened to the soundtrack. Wheat a great idea to put it out the same day it was released to theaters. If you take care of it, don't leave it in a hot car or anywhere where heat will cause it to warp, it should last for dec...

Re: Frozen: Part V

Possibly. But both Rapunzel and Merida were inducted roughly 11 months after their movies came out, so I was just going by that. But they could very well have been planned to be added in the summer.

3D Blu in October, according to Stitch. They're pretty reliable. http://www.stitchkingdom.com/disney-frozen-3d-bluray-october-2014-69957/ They've unlocked the secret and are exploiting our riches! Further corroborating the report about the October launch of the 3D Blu, the Edelweiss book catalog ha...

Re: Frozen: Part V

Well... why no powers to Anna? They claimed ELsa's powers were from birth. Wouldnt it make sense that both sisters have powers since they both came from the same parents? And I reiterate my mention of "balance of nature" Because even though the final film varies significantly from the sou...

Re: Frozen: Part V

I like those designs. I'm sure she would've gotten used to the kingdom's crown eventually, seeing as the expectation was that she'd wear a crown or tiara from the time of her coronation and onwards. But the night of her coronation, the crown was new for her and probably felt weird, so after she toss...

Re: Frozen: Part V

I think Disney has more to lose by risking tarnishing the franchise than augmenting it. Frozen will become a crown jewel for the company, and they're not one to risk dragging it through the mud with one, two, three, or four sequels. I think youre underestimating how important MONEY is to Disney. Th...

Re: Frozen: Part V

I'm repeating what I wrote a page before: How come when Elsa became the snow queen, even with the line in her song "A kingdom of isolation, and it looks like I'm the queen (by the way isn't that amazing that they make it so at first she says a kingdom of "ice" and then "olation&...

Re: Frozen: Part V

I really don't want to see a Frozen 2 . Shorts I'm fine with -- I would expect most of them to be about Olaf and/or Sven, but I wouldn't mind canonical shorts around Anna, Elsa, and/or Kristoff either.. But they spent decades trying to make a viable film out of the source material, and I don't think...

South Korea Blu-ray 3D + 2D http://kimchidvd.com/upfolder/case/2014/03/12/1394589380935311.jpg Man, not only does South Korea get 3D and we don't, but they also get the slipcover artwork I was hoping Frozen would get. Disney used a decent cover for TLM, but a gorgeously beautiful cover for TLM 3D, ...

Re: Frozen: Part V

She would have been a great Charlotte and Vanellope as well if WIR was a musical. This reminds me that I really wish WiR had been a musical. :( Anyway, in Frozen news, it looks like the movie will stand pat at #8 for the weekend, with a fantastic hold for both the week ending Sunday as well as just...

Re: Frozen: Part V

Eh, I prefer calling it Frozen over the Snow Queen. The film has very little similarities with the original source, anyway, so it works better as its own story. I don't think even in the film Elsa is ever referred to as the "Snow Queen", anyway. :? Otoh, I do wish Disney would stop with t...

I'm sure Kristin will land a major fantasy Disney role soon. She has both the talking voice and the singing voice that a company as smart as Disney know not to pass up.

Blu-ray.com review: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Frozen-Blu-ray/56784/#Review Based on that review as well as this photo of the slipcover's back, it looks like they decided not to include the 6-minute "Breaking the Ice: The Real Making of Frozen" bonus that was originally to be included,...
