Explain Your Avatar

For those of you who have Avatars, why did you pick it? What does it mean to you? I've noticed that some of you have very interesting avatars. Why'd you pick it?
I picked mine, Lady from Lady and the Tramp because, A) it's one of my favorite disney movies, and I love dogs. When I got my dog, I wanted to name her Lady (or Princess), but then SHE turned out to be a HE...
I may be changing it later to a picture of my own pup, but for now, Lady it is.

I usually change mine like once every month, but as of now mine's the new Star Wars title of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. I chose it because I like SW and got so excited when the title was announced I thought I should have it as my avatar.

Mine's an animated Dalek from Doctor Who, inspired by Loomis's Jon Pertwee as Dr. Who avatar.

Obviously, mine is an ever-changing picture of Amy Grant. She's my favorite singer and I do a lot of promotional work for her. For now, I've decided to do all of her album covers, in order, and I'm currently on her 2nd album cover,
My Father's Eyes from 1979. It's one of my least favorite of her album covers, as it looks pretty girly, so I'll probably move on to the next one soon. I sometimes even get PMs from other members here who are also fans, which is always very exciting!
Interesting tidbit: This album cover* was lambasted by some in the Contemporary Christian Music audience at the time for being too seductive.
*(if you are reading this later and it's changed, here it is:

)
Or, in other words,
"The reason why my avatars are always Amy Grant. Is because I am a huge Amy Grant fan. I own all 20/20 of her albums. I own alot of memorbilia A BUnch of Amy Grant CD'S. I am an Amy Grant Addict."

My avatar is of the Mad Hatter and March Hare, two of my favorite Disney characters (with my favorite, the Hatter, in the foreground). I never change it because there aren't that many good Mad Hatter pics on the web and this to me is just too good to change. A friend of mine made it for me using two separate cliparts of the Hatter and Hare and spruced it up through PaintShop, making it look all dimensional and sparkly. I've been attached to it ever since and use it for practically everything.

I love Atlantis and so my avatar is very unusual in shape. It's a word spelled out in Atlantean. My banner is also in Atlantean.

Darth Vader's like my favorite villain of all-time, and I found this really cool picture of him, and turned it into an avatar!

I usually like to change mine from time to time. Right now it's Bruce from Finding Nemo, because I just love that character.

Oh, come now, Aaron. Don't you remember the scene from Finding Nemo where Bruce grows fur and a black mane? I think it happened right after he smelled Dory's blood. He then proceeded to sing a rousing rendition of "Be Prepared" with 50 other sharks marching in line.

They change quite frequently, but at the moment mine is one of Jon Pertwee, the Third Doctor (Who, that is).
I'm not sure what episode that is from, I just took a random image and made it into an avatar sized piccie.
I wish I could've found an animated one where he is rubbing the back of his neck, or one with some more cape work. That would have truly captured his Pertwinity.

My current one relates to one of my favorite fims,
Billy Madison. If you don't get the connection, just see the movie yourself. Trust me, it'll be worth it.

Mine currently is part of the original American poster art for Holes, because currently it's the movie I'm watching at night to help me relax and go to sleep. I change it everytime I switch the tape out.

My avatar, if you look closely, is a pic of Simba looking down from Pride Rock and seeing... TOKYO CITY!
I got this pic at the official Disney Japan site when they were promoting the TLK Platinum Edition. The movie title was added by myself.
And besides... I LOVE THE LION KING!!!

Mine changes too, and will most likely go back to a Pete themed one again soon. But for now, its David Byrne from the Talking Heads music video "Road to Nowhere".

I just chaged mine but for those who remember my previous one, I had a close-up of the picture on the Promotional Demo Tape Video for Hocus Pocus, my favourite movie ever! Its a closeup of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as 3 17th century witches. I might put it back later. Cool topic.
