Has anyone else bought any of the Lorcana stuff before? The other day I happened to be scrolling on Amazon and saw an ad for some big story point titled, "Ursula's Revenge," which sent me down a YouTube rabbithole. The story sort of reminded me of Kingdom Hearts as far as the Disney stories being separate worlds and all, and the way most of the characters are re-interpreted in sort of RPG terms (like Donald and Goofy as mage and knight in KH). Cinderella's design as a knight was actually really nice--made me think of Jim Shore a bit--and the twist of her as a knight with the Fairy Godmother giving her a sword like Merlin made me laugh because of how similar Disney's version of Arthur in TSitS has always been to their Cinderella as it is.

Belle as an Archer was a really pretty picture, too.
I like how the arc culminates with Ursula as the big bad (at least for now), since usually stories like these use Maleficent, the Queen, or Hades. It was interesting the way the story had Ursula using several characters who would be useful to her like Bruno, Dolores, Hercules, etc. They leave foreshadowing for the next arc, with a shadow appearing to take the crown at the end. It sort of leads you to believe it might be Hades who's next, but the shadow to me looked a little too slim around the shoulders to be him, I wouldn't be surprised if it's the Queen (she would think she should wear the crown, ha).
That said, I know I'd never play card games, but Ravensburger's artwork is so pretty. I might buy the Ursula's Revenge box for the artwork of that character if nothing else. I'd actually like the idea of them using Ursula like that in KH somewhere down the line since she's already in the dark realm in that story.
