Last week reports surfaced from DiscussingFilm that Trey Parker and Matt Stone were working on a new movie titled, Alma Junction. Our source who works in the theater industry tells us that Alma Junction is just “code” for The Book of Mormon.
Our source also tells us that Vickie Thomas will be casting the film. DiscussingFilm also reported that Scott Rudin is set to produce the film with Pawel Pogorzelski set as cinematographer. Based on some new information we have obtained it looks like filming on the movie is set for mid March 2020. As with all filming dates anything could change so we will continue to monitor the news.
