Urduja is an upcoming hand-drawn animated movie from the Philippines. Urduja is a legendary warrior-princess who is recognized as a heroine in Pangasinan. The animation reminds me of Richard Rich's films. I doubt it'll be released outside the Philippines though.

She reminds me of Marina from "Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas".

Hand-drawn animation is so beautiful, though there's some DTV feel to it.

She reminds me of Pocahontas, but she possesses a closer resemblance with Mulan. Having said that, I hope the film won't be an intolerable Disney rip-off.

As what mooky stated, animation is surprisingly good. Not sure of watching it theatrically, though. And I'm in the Philippines. Perhaps a rental would suffice.

The style does appear a mix of Mulan and Sinbad. Not a bad thing, but I don't think its a Disney rip-off. It looks good to me.

The movie seems to have a lot of potential. I wish they didn't include the annoying talking animals though.
