It seems the old thread's getting pretty dang huge, so I figured I'd post a new one here.

I just started watching Hook. Finally here in New England, I went to Wal Mart after coming from the movies and found it in the bargain bin for 5.50, and having never seen it, picked it up.

Spaced Invaders - It's just as I remembered it... hilarious!

I just watched Cars for the 3rd time this week, Now I am watching The Simpsons Bart Wars then I am going to watch Stargate

I will have to look for hook in the 5.50 bin. I lover that movie

Naked Gun 2 1/2: The Smell of Fear on TV Land channel.

This film gets even funnier than the first time I watched it about few months ago. Hooray for slapstick jokes!

Pirates of the Caribbean The Curse of the Black Pearl. Had to get myself jacked up for the release of Dead Man's Chest in just a few weeks.

On Thursday Night I watched Saw, except for the last 15 minutes, thinking it was ok, then I went to school and some Idiot told me what happens in the last 15 minutes...I was so pissed off, because it would've been such a huge suprise!
Anyway, right now I'm watching Saw 2...and I am so scared I hate scary movies but you just can't stop watching them...you need to know what happens, plus some friends and I are going to see Saw 3 next weekend, so I need to know whats going on.
(And for those of you who know my age...shhhh, I'm getting a friend to buy the ticket )

Nostalgia Time...I watched Return to Oz on Wednesday night and The Little Mermaid (got the DVD, yey) yesterday afternoon.

After rolling in from a big night of eating at the Hard Rock (for my girlfriend's birthday), we decided to put on something exceptionally silly and fun and Slither was the choice.

I suspect this is going to be one of our regular 'default' movies in the future.

I watched The DaVinci Code today. The DVD was already released here on Nov.7 , ha!!

Most recently, I went to see "Marie Antoinette" which I found to be one of the best movies I have seen in years. Artistically, its stunning!

I watched Cars yesterday. I hadn't seen it in the theaters and I quite enjoyed. I think I like it better than Finding Nemo. Definitly a good movie!

The Little Mermaid. I just can't get enough of it!

I was also able to watch Cars tonight. I loved it!

EDIT: Wow. I can't believe I used to love <i>Cars</i>. It's awful!

I watched Fast Times at Rchmond High it was okay but after hearing all this praise for bring one of the greatest highschool movies ever I was dissapointed, I mean it had some cute moments with specoli (?) and stuff but basically the whole movie was about horny teenagers having sex with no plot or sympathy for any characters at all. Anyway thats my little rant...

Watched Cars for the second time on dvd last night. I really like the animation in this film.

Just watched Superman Returns. We already have it in Brazil, and, my oh my, such a fantastic movie! Oh, and the special features are great too!

I forgot to mention that i caught some of Home Alone on TBS last night. I didn't finish it beacuse I was too tired. It annoys me that it was somewhat heavily edited "for time".

Watched PotC- Black Pearl and Cliffhanger last night, Plus Cars for the 4th time in the morning. Also went to the theaters and watched Stranger than Fiction, which was a funny movie but needed more editing, throughout the movie you could see the boom(microphone) on top of the screen

Well the Junkie's Home Theater got out a couple of classics yesterday and last night. We watched:

The Country Bears - because of all the flack I am reading about how bad this movie is, and wow! it really is a fun movie to watch as a family. Something for everyone.

The Spirit of St. Louis - Bio-pic of Charles A. Lindbergh which documents moments in his life leading up to his solo flight across the Atlantic to Paris, France. Really good movie with James Stewart as Lindbergh.

The Glenn Miller Story - James Stewart as the famous band leader who mysteriously died during a USO tour during WWII. June Allyson plays his wife, and this is one bio-pic that withstands the sands of time. The music is great, and the story is a lot of fun to watch.

And to end the movie watching for this fabulous day we watched the very first Beatles movie, A Hard Day's Night. I had forgotten just how much fun this movie really is. Great British humor, good cast, and a lot of the best of the Beatles music.

I just watched The Little Mermaid for the second time on DVD. I watched it last week and I was disgusted, I thought it was such a weak movie and couldn't believe how it could ever be considered one of the fab four!

Well after a second viewing I appreciate it much much more, I really enjoyed it the second time round, I'd still say it was weaker other of the fab four, in fact I'd say that most of the films releasing following it are superior, but the DVD is definitely going to get some more watchin'.

So for all of those of you who refuse to re-watch Home on the Range because you hated it first time round, it just shows opinions can change!
