Vintage Disney Music on iTunes!!!!!
Posted: Fri Nov 10, 2006 9:33 am
As was reported on the front page, in honor of Walt Disney Records 50th anniversary, they are releasing vintage records for digital download. I felt that a thread should be made listing all of the albums available as well as track listings. So here they are:
The two major releases are two volumes of the Walt Disney Records Archive Collection. The first volume is worthwhile due to it's large number of unreleased songs, but the second volume is more modern and a Disney music collector would likely have most of the songs on it. It reuses many Disney Mania songs. They are $9.99 each. Each contains 25 songs, so instead of listing them all, I will list the songs that aren't available on other albums.

A Child's Garden of Verses 1955 $9.99
A collection of 20 peoms set to song. I hadn't heard of any of them and none of them are particularly Disney oriented. All songs are sung by Beverly Gile. This album holds the least amount of interest for me out of all of the Disney albums released. From the clips I've heard, the songs would be best used for nostalgia purposes for anyone who listened to it as a kid.
