Predict how much the 2006 Disney films will earn

The other thread was pretty big and mostly geared towards films that are either out of theaters or somewhat winding down their runs, so we'll focus this thread on the 11 Disney movies slated to come out in 2006. One and probably only one of them is likely to bounce to Touchstone (the PG-13-rated Stick It!), but that can be this year's Hitchhiker's, so we'll still predict it. Everyone who has already made predictions for these films in the 2005 thread, your guesses have been logged and there's no need to repeat them.

The 2006 movies to predict:

Glory Road (January 13)
Roving Mars (January 27)
Eight Below (February 17)
The Shaggy Dog (March 10)
The Wild (April 14)
Stick It! (Spring - TBA)
Cars (June 9)
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (July 7)
Invincible (Fall - TBA)
The Santa Clause 3 (November 3)
Meet the Robinsons (December 15)

More information on all of these films is available right here:
http://www.ultimatedisney.com/intheaters.html

If enough people participate, I think it's fair to expect that the individual with the highest average accuracy to their predictions overall (provided they predict 7 or more films) will win the 2006 movie of their choosing (not limited to Disney) on DVD. I'll also use this thread to continue updating on the three remaining 2005 films - their box office grosses and our predictions.

Today is the final day to revise or make predictions on Glory Road. I'm going to stick with my initial prediction on that as my gut feelings, for the most part, proved to be more accurate than my revisions in the old thread.

But I will revise my Roving Mars prediction to $4.3 million. That's all for now.

Just a reminder to all (and perhaps this should be in the first post): If you're going to make new predictions or revise old ones, be sure to do it in a new post. I constantly monitor this thread and keep track of predictions in a spreadsheet I have, so editing posts will not inform me of a change - in fact, it may only disqualify your edits if a post is edited predicting movies that have opened since then. That's mostly for the eager-to-edit Pals, but applies to everyone.

I'm baffled as to how you guys can even predict these figures!

A movie can be a critical favourite and flop, or get the worst reviews in the world and still open to $50m.

Just out of curiousity, what are y'all basing these figures on?

Glory Road -- $30m low-end, high-end $55m, but most likely in the $40-$45m range; my official record guess is $40

Roving Mars -- $4-$6m; $5m record

The Wild -- big dud alert! -- >$20m final

Cars $250-$300m+; record $275m

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest -- $300-$360m; record $345

You have to make one guess Jake. No ranges. Right now none of your predictions can be counted except for The Wild. Wanna point that out before your Glory Road prediction time is up.

The deadline was yesterday and seeing as how you would have had six hours in today that could still be considered "yesterday" for us folk, I can't really accept this revision. Sorry.
