I'm so excited for you! Hope you have fun! (Well, had fun, since you probably won't see this until you come back, lol)Poody wrote:Ahhhhhhh I'll be watching it in about 2 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agreed.Siren wrote:The animation is better than the second movie.
Well, in the series, they have Triton and his turtle-friend taking baths, and the water overflowed... then again, it might not be oil. You have to consider density and all that. But yeah, probably like Spongebob logic.Siren wrote:Though the part when Marina is having her nails done and she dips them in the bowl, there is a definitely liquid splash sound...how is that possible when they are already under water? I guess they have the same logic as when Spongebob takes a bath.
It's just a kids show that takes place underwater. The point of the show is the comedy, not the realism.Ariel'sprince wrote:Well,it could be made of... something else that water can't effact.
It is in annyoing in Spongebob,I like the series take place underwater but it doesn't even reminds me of water at all exept the bubbles, they walk on the ocean floor insted of swimming, the fishes have fins that looks like legs and the waters's suerface are just flowers and those times where they take a bath or go to beach.
Has anyone read this?Old Fish Tale wrote:More free screenings!
That means not making sense at all?.Vermin Friends wrote:It's just a kids show that takes place underwater. The point of the show is the comedy, not the realism.Ariel'sprince wrote:Well,it could be made of... something else that water can't effact.

Apparently. I think they ought to show a little more originality. For instance, I remember in the tv show, Triton didn't ground his children, he "beached" them. I LOVED the play on words. Stuff like that I find pretty cool, because it shows the writers put a little more thought into the tiny details, that really don't matter, but make the story and characters more believable.Ariel'sprince wrote:That means not making sense at all?.Vermin Friends wrote: It's just a kids show that takes place underwater. I have, and thank you for posting. Unfortunately none of those screenings are near me. I wish there were some in New York or in New Jersey.Old Fish Tale wrote:Has anyone read this?Old Fish Tale wrote:More free screenings!
I meant to say "It might not be water", but "oil" came out instead. lol Sorry.Siren wrote:If it was oil, it would float. Stuff like that are just pet peeves of mine.
Not necessarily- I'm just saying it doesn't need to make sense, because it is a children's show. Now if they decided to air it on National Geographic, then it would have to make sense, since the shows on NG are reliable sources of information, opposed to Spongebob Squarepants.Ariel'sprince wrote:That means not making sense at all?.Vermin Friends wrote: It's just a kids show that takes place underwater. But there was one! Click here!Disney Villain wrote:I wish there were some in New York or in New Jersey.
That reminds me of a scene in the original little mermaid. At the end of part of your world right before Ariel goes to the surface to see Eric's ship Sebastian says: "Come lets go home and get you something warm to drink." Ariel: "What do you suppose?"Siren wrote:If it was oil, it would float. Stuff like that are just pet peeves of mine.
Don't get me wrong, I know a cartoon is a cartoon and it is very much a fantasy, but there still needs to be a bit of logic there. Another illogical cartoon thing: The fact the male cow in the movie/tv series Barnyard has an utter....Hermaphrodite perhaps?
Adding onto this:Vermin Friends wrote: Lastly- I've been thinking of a way they could get away with Marina not being revealed as Ursula, but maybe hinting it- at the last minute, they could have a closeup on Marina saying something that Ursula had originally said, "I'll make him writhe, I'll see him wriggle like a worm on a hook!" and then close up on her eyes, fade to black, her eyes are still there... oh well. I just thought it would be cool.lol
Old Fish Tale, yes I've seen it- thanks for posting it, but I live in Hawaii. lol

I always wondered...how and what exactly do mermaids drink?
Well Poody obviously thinks it is good enough to compare next to Cinderella3 since they have different standards as to what makes a good movie as does everyone.Disney Duster wrote: Poody, in white: Sorry, how the hell is a TV-series plot where nothing bad happens, we don't have a very good villain, and Ariel sings one okay song, anywhere near as good as Cinderella III with the twisting, exciting movie plot, lots of bad, interesting things happen, and we have a great villain with added power, and Cinderella sings a pretty song? Make sure you don't just love this sequel because you love The Little Mermaid so much. Write back in white.
I think underwater life in LM is very different from what we all know. When you think about it by real life terms, not much of the movie/series makes sense. How does everything in Ariels secret lair stop from floating up and away. She has forks, paintings, etc...Siren wrote:jeremy88 wrote: That reminds me of a scene in the original little mermaid. I always wondered...how and what exactly do mermaids drink?Never thought of that one! I know it is possible for underwater animals to drink. Afterall, many marine mammals have to get mother's milk. But unless mermaids drink from bottles, I doubt its gonna happen underwater...Maybe Sebastian meant to get some warm water near the underwater springs/volcano. It would be warm there.
