Oh my! Thanks for the link to the video, Lnds500!

I like what I see, for the most part. The characters still seem very unfinished to me, but the concept art is beautiful (except for the Elsa standing on a snowflake. What's up with that?). But what really stood out to me was the music. I hope its official. It has such a Christmas/holiday feel to it.

I can't wait! Frozen is now my most anticipated movie of the year. :D

I'm really excited to see Hans. I hope, if he is the villain, he turns out to be really bad ass.

Appearance-wise, he is not. :P

Haha well you have to be careful with those normal/non-threatening looking types. Usually they can be the most dangerous which is how I hope Hans turns out. If he is the villain of course :p

Assuming he is the villain.... I feel it's a bit odd to name the bad guy Hans in an adaptation of a Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale. Maybe that's just me though.

While signs certainly point to him being a good villain possibility, I hope he isn't. I find normal "human" Disney villains kind of boring. I want to see one of the trolls or some magic ice something or other. I hope they really turn Elsa dark before redeeming her. I want her to be BAD, not just misguided.

Ohhhh yesss ! To see Elsa getting very bad, dark and dangerous some time is what most of us wish so strong ! The strength of the movie depends on that, hope Disney won't miss that point... They did it with Beast, Kuzco, Silver and so... But that was different. Here, a nice and beautiful princess heroin turned maleficent would be really amazing !!!

Though I am expecting it, I hope that Hans won't be a villain. I don't think this film needs a traditional villain, having Elsa's corruption and redemption as the primary conflict should be enough. Also subverting the prophecy by having it turn out to be another person is getting old, would rather the prophecy be undermined completely.

Well, at least it's something. Although it isn't much.

Well, in fact i think it's NOTHING.
Can we hold on 27 days til the trailer comes ?
Can't they offer us an official teaser ( like they did with Tangled) , short and simple, with just a few falling snowflakes, a few notes of musique and a few words...

Hopefully, it will be here REAL soon. Around this time, Princess and the Frog's first trailer premiered on Disney Channel. And next month is June, which Disney always releases its trailers for the winter. We gotta be patient. But, I'm dying too :(

Disney Germany did it again...

And I thought the German subtitle of Rapunzel was bad. 'Völlig Unverfroren' means something like 'Totally Barefaced'. Apparently it is supposed to be funny, because the German word 'Unverfroren' is similar to the German word for 'Frozen'. Oh, you're so witty, I'm literally rolling on the floor laughing, Disney. rotfl

By this logic (as in shamelessly copying Tangled's marketing strategy) the movie will be named The Snow Queen in Dutch.

So keep them fingers crossed.

I really want/hope that to be the castle as it has a great Scandinavian feel and authentic to it. But Didn't Sotris or Prince Kido confirm that that castle will not be in the film?

Arendelle? I kind of like that name. I don't think the kingdom in Tangled had a name, did it?

I agree, I like Arendelle. Tangled's kingdom is unofficially Corona. From what I understand, that's what the filmmakers referred to it as during production, but I guess they weren't allowed to use it in the film, possibly because of the beer connotation. http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Corona

I'm pretty sure the beer brand Corona does not own the actual word, which is Latin for 'crown', referring to the atmosphere of the sun. Which in turn refers to Rapunzel's magical sun drop powers and her rightful crown.

Why the name was dropped from the movie I'm not sure. Isn't it used in storybooks published by Disney?
