but wait a sec, how can Disney be working on such sequel if the animation studios in Australia closed just after Bambi 2?
or they waited to finish this project and then is the final bye bye to 2-d?
Yeah. DisneyToon closed this year, but they're still developing Brother Bear 2 and Cinderella 3 right when they announced this. So these two will be the last ones from there.
And Isidour, it's been in the works for like almost 2 years now.

isn´t 2-years a lot of time for a sequel?
or they are doing a real good job on this one or they just stopped for a while to continue it later?

Nope, it's been in full production since April 2004.

those look really good! i think the australia studio is trying to make a point to the disney company. it really seems like the animation for these past few DTV sequels have been really good considering past sequels like Hunchback 2.

Cool screenshots. Thanks for sharing them.
Mandy Moore will be in the movie. I heard of her, but I don't know much about her.
Yahoo.com says that that Melissa Etheridge sings in three songs in Brother Bear 2. I haven't heard her sing before. Maybe I'll go borrow a CD of her songs.

I'll wait for Disney to release an official press release.

I can't wait. "Brother Bear" is one of my favorite last-Disney movies to come out. Plus, I love Mandy Moore too.
