The guy from blu-ray.com says it's in a thicker case, which is a hair smaller then the Disney 3-disc case.

Highly unlikely... Disney has been pushing Blu-ray so hard that I doubt they'd make any special feature DVD exclusive.

Not to worry. The commentary is on there. It's called Cine-Explore (just like the Wall-E, Cars and Ratatouille Blu-rays).

What it sounds like is the same style case that Warner's been using for the new copies of Blade Runner. I know, a completely different genre and audience, but if anyone has one of the newer copies in their collection, that's probably what it is (Unfortunately, my copy is one of the early ones that came in a super thick case). Not as thin as a normal BD case, but certainly not as thick as the 3 disc cases we got with titles like WALL-E, Snow White and Bolt (to name a few).

I saw the pictures of the Monsters, Inc. Blu-ray, and it came in the thick Blu-ray case (I can tell, because of the light blue-ness and the "frosted" Blu-ray logo), with the Digital Copy disc on the left interior panel, the 2 Blu-ray discs on opposite sides of a double-sided tray, and the DVD disc on the right interior panel. I expect that there will be copies of the Up Blu-ray packaged like that, too.

Well, I'm guessing that there will be copies of Up packaged in the thick case that I mentioned, just like Monsters, Inc.. BTW, that kind of case is a Vortex case, which is the kind that Disney and Sony use.

Your copy of Up comes in an Elite case, which is the kind that studios like Fox, WB, Universal, and Paramount use.

This looks like a very disappointing set to me. I mean, they should at least build it to fit more Pixar movies. Also, the lamp looks like it can break with two hands.

At first, I was like WTF. But seeing the base, with the name, it's a cute idea. But, I would never shell out $200 for that.

Most of the cases aren't that thick, so it could fit a couple more movies.

It looks cute.

for those who are interested and haven't bought the DVD of UP yet, Target's Black Friday Ad was leaked and UP DVD (not Blu Ray) will be $13.

Sounds like you need to get your priorities in order. Blu-ray should rate much higher on your 'must-have' list than an iPOD!!!!!
