Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series

: This year's variety of supporting actresses is pretty cool and they
come from very different TV shows that all have an audience. We have a
psychiatrist, an office-worker, and a tiny waitress selling pie to just
name a few. But all these supporting characters wouldn't be so lovely if
it weren't for the fantastic actresses portraying them. This year the
nominees in the category "Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series" are...
Amy Brenneman (Private Practice)
Andrea Bowen (Desperate Housewives)
Jenna Fischer (The Office)
Kristin Chenoweth (Pushing Daisies)

Best Comedy

: While 2008 has seen many excellent dramas, one would be foolish to overlook a number of excellent comedies. This year gave us one film version of a show that’s run for eighteen seasons, two highly successful musical comedies, two unexpected pregnancies, and three unpopular kids looking to get lucky. I'm not even going to try to be funny for fear of being unfavorably compared to some of these movies. The nominees for the 2008 Movie Award for Best Comedy are…
Enchanted
Hairspray
Juno
Knocked Up
The Simpsons Movie
Superbad
...And the winner is...

Congratulations again, Enchanted! Thanks for making us laugh!
This leaves us with just the Big Five in the Movies category. Before we get to those, though, we'll return to Music to reveal the Greatest Pop Stars of All Time!

Best Book

: This year there are three very diverse books that have been nominated for "Best Book". One was written by a famous English fiction writer, one by an extremely talented Christian/Pop artist, and the other by a sarcastic Republican. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ended an era in book writing, with it's innumerable fans. Mosaic... Pieces of My Life So Far is a bestselling autobiography-related book that received rave reviews and should be on everyone's bookshelf. And last, but certaintly not least, is If Democratics Had Any Brains, They'd Be Republicans. The latter contains some of Ann Coulter's controversial quotes, each chapter with an introduction by the author. Again, the nominees are:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
Mosaic..Pieces of My Life So Far by Amy Grant
If Democratics Had Any Brains, They'd Be Republicans by Ann Coulter
With that said, let the best book win!

Best Actress in a TV Series

: This year, the TV season was, let's admit it, just weird. Of course
there was the writer's strike but before that some people said it
already got off to a bad start and some said it was one of the best
seasons in a long time. In the end the viewers decide, but there is one
thing that is absolutely sure: Like every year there are some wonderful
females who make us laugh, cry, feel any emotion that you can have while
watching TV and we nominated some of the very best, some old, some new. The nominees are:
America Ferrara (Ugly Betty)
Anna Friel (Pushing Daisies)
Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives)
Felicity Huffman (Desperate Housewives)
Marcia Cross (Desperate Housewives)
Teri Hatcher (Desperate Housewives)
...And the award goes to...
