Fortunately, I never had any problems with residues and this kind of thing. My DVDs only come with the Disney stitckers, which come off easily. But, as I said, I only take off the ones that are advertisings... The golden/yellow/whatever ones I keep...

yes, Nail polish is great for stickers removal....well. only if the stickers are on a plastic area, if they're on paper the best thing is leaving them that way.

I already orderer my Alice Masterpiece collection at amazon, cause I don't think it will be released here in Mexico anytime soon, at least it has the spanish track , and yes, I'm exited...

More "Alice". Again, courtesy of a eBay seller. It seems this copy comes with the two cookies which were sent to reviewers.

Cards for a set-top game are also found inside the DVD case (I haven’t test-driven this game so I can’t offer any comments as of yet). And consistent with past surprises from the creative and fun-loving marketing folks (something that you won't see with your edition), this DVD screener arrived with two cookies that have scanned-on pictures from the movie (these just *can’t* be the same marketing folks responsible for atrocities like the P/S only Muppets Treasure Island…these people are just waaaay too cool). I would imagine that eating one makes me grow smaller and eating the other makes me grow larger. If I can round up a digital camera I’ll photograph the cookies before they are devoured….

Does anyone think Disney might do something with Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass?

I doubt it. If Disney ever makes a sequel to Alice, it'll probably be a crappy original idea of theirs involving Alice's daughter or something.

Has anyone posted a pic of what the inside cover looks like (when it "opens like a book")?

Off-Topic: I would love to direct a Live-Action Alice in Wonderland, with Kate Bosworth as Alice, Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter, Jack Black as the Caterpillar, and Will Ferrel as the Chesher Cat.

Strangely enough this thought, or a very similair one drifted through my head earlier today... or eh, yesterday (the 17th)... however, I believe Disney's adaptation of Alice is a mix of both Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, so proboably no, but if it was just specific to wonderland, then i would so be up for disney doing through the looking glass! I guess we have a very short version of that already

Yes, I could see Disney with Eisner as the leader doing something like Alice 2: All Grown Up, which would completely irritate Lewis Carroll if he knew. I really like some of the lines in both books and am possibly using them at work for "quotes for the day" to put on units so my nurses and doctors and others can have some inspiration. OHHHHH, this gives me an idea for a new thread!

ComingSoon.net has posted another review. Of all the reviews thus far, this one gives the most detail to the Disc One contents:

Virtual Wonderland Party – This is a live action show where a creepy looking guy dressed up as the Mad Hatter hosts a number of activities for small children. There are sing along songs, riddles, games, and other stuff. This tea party is quite long and will drive adults insane. Think of Barney or some other kids show but with Wonderland characters. Children will definitely enjoy it more, though my kid preferred to play the set top games rather than do this.

Set-top game – The set top game consists of three parts. The first is a game where you answer trivia questions and pick objects which match the answers. The second part has you do a Memory-type card game and match card soldiers. In the third part you must arrange three cookies in order to get through the door. Kids will enjoy it and adults may even find it a little challenging. Once you beat the game, the opening song from Alice in Wonderland plays.

"I'm Odd" never before heard song – This is the first of the deleted content. It is revealed for the first time on this DVD. In this song the Cheshire Cat sings about how odd he is. Only the sheet music was found for the song, so a new recording had to be made. Someone who sounded like the Cat (possibly Jim Cummings) sang the lyrics while modern music is played in the background. Various clips of the Cat are shown from the movie. It's a great addition, but the song isn't catchy or memorable. The modern sounding music also doesn't fit the rest of the movie. They should have tried to get a 1950's sound for it.

The rest of the review states what we already know about the bonus material. Based on this review, the Virtual Wonderland Party seems scary...I'd rather have a CGI game/thing like the Virtual Safari...

Eeww... This thing seems to be really creepy. I mean, a guy in Mad Hatter's suit?! Well, if they said "Virtual", you'd imagine it had something to do with animation.

Agreed. I'd rather have a children's DVD special that seems made for PBS programming instead of a teeny bopper music video with girls overwearing eyeshadow, dancing in front of cheesy animated backgrounds...Still, I was hoping to see some Alice characters/setting in CGI (I have no qualms about Disney 2-D characters in CGI as long as the actual film isn't redone in it).

i've never had any problems taking the stickers off! also the alice in wonderland comes with cards in the case to play the tea party game!
I do hope they include a free $5 for upgrading!

The guy in the Mad Hatter's suit sounds like a molester who took the job to get near some kids.
