Yay! Thanks a lot for that! :D

Have you seen Aurora? Her waistline is about the size of her neck! Now that I think about it, Keira actually does resemble Aurora quite a bit facial features-wise.

Oh, and I'm so calling her Dread Pirate Swann from now on. :D

Shes very Pretty with wavy hair and thin just like Aurora.

I know Aurora is thin, but still that shouldn't be used to call Keira Knightley's super thinness okay. Just look at her back, yuck with all the bones and such.
Keira is very pretty, but a Disney princess is somebody people, especially little girls look up to, so Ms. Knightley's size 0 might become an aim for some. Not good, apart from that she might be a very nice Aurora.

I love these photos almost more than the films themselves. It's so great to see such a fresh twist to these classics, and I can't wait for the next set! Anyway, USA Today has a poll, stating that Jennifer Lopez (J. Lo) and her husband, Marc Anthony were the latest celebrities cast for the campaign.
In the spring, two more celebs join the campaign: Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony. Which characters do you think they'll be?
- Ariel and Eric
- Beauty and the Beast
- Aladdin and Jasmine
- Mickey and Minnie

Most people, like myself, had voted for Aladdin and Jasmine. Just look at them! Give him a clean shave and give her belly a clever hide and it'd look picture perfect. I can't wait for this. I hope Annie doesn't make the mistake of casting them as someone else...

I can't wait to know who's going to be Ariel!

I really like the Whoopi as Genie picture. Her expression is priceless.

The Jennifer Lopez/Marc Anthony one is very nice too...but I was hoping they'd be a little closer to the costumes (like the very first ones, namely Beckham as Phillip and Hottie McHotHot as Cindy).

The Peter Pan one is...unique. Especially as Pan is such an old guy (Baryshnikov) and Wendy is someone I've never heard of before. Not to say I didn't like it, it looks rather breathtaking.

Jessica Biel as Pocahontas looks more like Jessica Biel as Leela (of Doctor Who, not of Futurama). But she's another contender for the Hottie McHotHot title.

Wow, awesome portrait of Whoopi as the Genie! Too bad it's just a picture and not a movie...

Anyone found higher-res versions? I can't really make out Tina Fey as Tinker Bell.

Wow, those new ones are really cool! I wonder how many more Disney is planning to do of these.
It's funny, my favorite photo is of Beyonce as Alice, and that is one of my least favorite Disney movies.

Escapay "Hotty Mchot Hot" is Scarlett Johansson in case you didn't know her real name ! :)

I think Jessica beil is perfect for Pocahontas, she's got the razor sharp cheekbones that Native Americans seem to be blessed with.

God, the one week I haven't been checking my sources, is the week that a whole new batch is released. lmfao I'm a little disappointed with this set. She cast Peter Pan as some old guy labeling it "where you never have to grow up"... The scene is beautiful, though.

Pochahontas' was a little disappointing for me, too. :( Jessica Beil, yes. But her expression... looks so lost. And, as far as I remember, there was no deer in Pochahontas. It would've had me in tears if they had gotten a blue necklace similar to the one Pochahontas wears.

Aladdin and Jasmine, I was hoping they'd use them. :D Although, as Escapay said, I would have liked it if their costumes were more similar to the ones in the film. I love that final touch with the castle, though. Beautiful.

And of course, I saved the best for last: Whoopi Goldberg. I didn't expect this, but I think she fits the part great. Again, as Escapay said, her expression is priceless. I'm pretty sure Annie won't read this, but I jsut wanted to tell you what an amazing job you did. Here's hoping for my dream portrait for Ariel! :D

And thanks, Leonia for the HQs! :D

I saw these on the news yesterday and almost died. This is the best batch (collectively) so far! I'm thrilled to have a Peter Pan one! Although, I agree with everyone else who are wondering why some 50-year-old Russian dancer is Peter...I do like the costume, though. Giselle is admittedly gorgeous, but why isn't she in Wendy's classic blue nightdress? I feel like they could've made a cute little gown for her to wear.

Tina is priceless, too. I love that she's wearing her glasses!!

The J. Lo pic is also great. I wonder why they didn' merge that one with the Whoopi pic...Whoopi's looks strange by itself to me.

I wonder what three she'll do next! Little Mermaid and who else???

Oh, and does anyone know what captions will accompany these spreads?

Genie: Where your every wish is our command.
Aladdin: Where a whole new world awaits
Peter Pan: Where you never have to grow up.
Pocahontas: Where dreams run free.

I like the old guy as Peter Pan. It says that it doesn't matter what age you are, you can still pretend to be, and have people see you as (well, hopefully) a young, cute boy who refuses to grow up. I think she cast someone older on purpose to say you can be forever young on the inside. It's more metaphoric and artsy, and she is an artist.

I, too, wish Whoopi was attached to something. Why doesn't she hang onto the carpet that J Lo and that Marc are on?

And here are the pictures with the logos on them:

My favourite of course, as a devoted Aladdin fan, is the "Whole New World" one. I think JLo is fantastic as Jasmine.
I would have prefered Monica Bellucci as Pocahontas, Jesica Biel is ok though.
I'm wondering who are they going to cast as Ariel. I hope they'll stick to the red hair!
