Totally forgot to mention Scrooged and Bad Santa (Badder Santa, actually), which are two huge faves of mine! I also rather like Merry Christmas, Mr. Bean. Need to get that one and Badder Santa on DVD!

I think that's it...? Growing up, I'd always watch "Muppet Family Christmas", but the tape is at my parents' house...Hey- I'll email them asking them to bring it down when they come for Turkey Day! Thanks, UD, for the great idea...!

They're the ones I own at home on DVD (except Eloise - which I LOVE)
I also spend the weeks before Christmas watching any christmas movie or special on TV! So there really are loads more, but I'd be listing them all day!
Great... Now I feel all Christmassy and it's only November!

The holidays bring a special time for watching certain movies and these are just a few:
Miracle on 34th Street - the original not that lame remake. This is the one with Natalie Wood.
White Christmas - a family favorite and a must watch.
Holiday Affair - little known classic Christmas story with Janet Leigh and Robert Mitchum.
Home Alone 2 - far superior to the overplayed "Home Alone". Just a much better film, expecially when it comes to the 'traps' set by Kevin (McCauley Culkin).
A Christmas Carol - the best one, the one with Alastair Sim.
The Muppet's Christmas Carol - fun for the whole family.
Holiday Inn - Another must-see Holiday movie.
Mickey's Christmas Carol - one of my favorites, so it gets watched at least twice.
Prancer - a heart-warming Christmas story.
Scrooged - gotta watch this at least once before Christmas.
Train, Planes and Automobiles - Steve Martin and John Candy are amazing in this holiday comedy.
There are quite a few more, but those are guaranteed to be watched during the Holiday season.

I like the original Home Alone but I prefer the sequel. Better story.

As for Disney holiday movies, though I don't watch it every year, I probably will watch
Beauty and the Beast: Enchanted Christmas this year. I have newfound appreciation for Angelique.
