One of the best season finale for Lost. I really wonder what will happen in season four. Can't wait to get the DVD for Lost season three either. BTW I don't think they really left the island.

Hey Pals, didn't you watch the show. That was what the main storyline was about. Jack is back in the city after the rescue, and is a bigtime alcoholic and addicted to a certain drug. Life isn't going well for him, and then when he attempted suicide he ended up rescuing those people in the accident. Then later in the show he meets up with Kate and tries to talk her into going back to the island and she refuses.

We now know that they are rescued, but the questions left unanswered are how, and by whom, since Ben warned him not to believe Naomi, and Locke tried to prevent him from making contact with the supposed rescue ship off shore.

The next 48 episodes should prove to be very interesting since we won't have to worry about missing any weeks do to dumb programming. The drawback is we have to wait until February of 2008 to start finding out the answers.

Bill, I already know that Jack is not on the island. Then why is Jack's father alive shouldn't he be dead?
I did see Lost last night Bill and I know that everyone left the island.
But it seems all like a dream. BTW who was the funeral for Charlie?
The episode reminds me of The Twilight Zone or the Outer Limits.
I know that they left the island but at the same time it feels like they didn't.

Jack's father was not alive.

The body in the box is probably Locke's..........he didn't have that many friends and that is why Jack was surprised that no one showed up for the viewing.

The next three seasons (48 episodes), and this is only my opinion, is that Jack will gather up some of those who made it back, and get some financing from a very rich person (you know who) and return to the Island to stop Naomi and her friends from destroying the world.

Remember Ben warned Jack that Naomi was not who she said she was, and Locke tried to stop Jack from reaching the so-called help offshore of the Island.

That was not a back story about Jack that we witnessed. That was Jack today, and his inability to cope with what was going on around him. That was why he was going to jump from the bridge until that accident happened and the doctor in him helped save those people's lives.

Rewatch that show about three more times and you will get what is going on. "Lost" has just gone into the future and now they will have to go back to the past to correct things so that everything will be okay in the now. These next seasons will be absolutely mind-boggling. It's too bad that we have to wait until February 2008 for it all to start.

Okay, thanks Bill I know Lost is about the future. Now Jack has to make everyone to go back on the island again to make it right.

That's not a fact. For all we know this might be some plot twist they have up their sleeves. Yes, Jack was probably too drunk to think straight, but we're gonna have to see some footage of him from the future when he isn't drunk/high for confirmation.

Where did you get that? :? I heard nothing about destroying the world.
Also, I'd be careful about the info that came out from Ben's mouth. To him they could very well be evil only because they're getting these survivors off the island and they're about to expose his dealings on the island. Moreover, he still sees himself as a "good guy".

If you love LOST ... you gotta see this LOL
The Plot Gets "Thicke" on ABC's LOST

The mystery island on ABC's Lost may hold many secrets, but one of them is not the fact that the show is hemorrhaging viewers. But in last night's season finale, they started (Spoiler Alert!) telling stories (Alert, damn it!) in the future. What?!? Why don't they just saw our brains in half? And when the show comes back in seven months, for all we know LOST will be a sitcom. With our friends at WebJunk putting together a list of the Great Sitcom Themes (and some...um...awful remakes), we figured that it's our duty - nay, our...stronger word for duty - to give you a taste of next season's more-palatable Lost ...
