, thanks, Amy! It's just something I've been planning on doing for months, but never found time and patience to do until now. Not to mention high quality screencaps for some of the movies were practically non-existent (I have to say, some of UD's reviews were really helpful :p). Well anyway, here it is – the original and the scaled-down pic:

And thanks again! :)

I love your new siggy, Mooky! It's so beautiful! :)

In honor of the Haunted Mansion's 40th Anniversary next week and its upcoming anniversary celebration next month, I decided to change once again to a new one for a while. My avatar is the Imagineer's model for Madame Leota, and my signature are some of the Imagineer's concept miniature models for Phineas the hitchhiker, one of the male ballroom dancers, and the opera singers.

My siggy-banner is a collage from the Disney feature "Pinocchio", that's obvious of course.
I picked out screencaps from the movie (there is a nice website with Disney screencaps to make this easier), made a new document in Photoshop Elements (twice the size of the final banner), placed the title in the middle and put various screencaps of the movie in more or less chronological order from left to right, next and on top of eachother in different layers. I used the eraser to remove parts of images (soft pressure) with a wacom tablet and pen.

Maybe I should put some quote underneath...don't know which one yet.

P.S: Mooky: I thought the size and proportions I picked for my banner was the maximum possible for this forum, but you managed to make a bigger one! Can you reveal to me what size your banner exactly is?

That's because I cheated ... My signature size is 777x111 pixels (in contrast to the usual 500x100), but only because it would be hard to make out if it was any smaller. To tell you the truth, I'm still waiting for mods to tell me to take it off... But I promise, my next one won't be as big as this one :).

And thanks, Tim! :)

Every Friday, I'll alternate my signature with three images of a different member of the Winx Sorority, the featured characters from an Italian cartoon. The series is the reason I taught myself Italian, although I'm not saying I'm any good at it.

First off is Roxy, the skeptical new girl introduced in season four.

Ooops! Changed the name of my site and the link to my banner was gone.

I try to post it again.

Soon I will show my collage of "Snow White".

Testing to see if the signature I made works.

Yay it did!!

The explanation is pretty straightforward. I chose pictures from some of my favorite Disney films– shots that are heartfelt and dramatic– and then added a quote that I found that seemed to fit with the themes of these stories.

This is Aisha's week. Aisha is the token independent self-repressed feminist of the group, introduced in season two. Not my favorite of the main characters in the series, though, but a close second. You'll meet my favorite next go-round.

In the original Italian and many dubs, her name is Aisha. In the American dub, her name is Layla. In the Australian dub, her name is Gladys. She's Gladis with an "i" somewhere else, but I can't recall where.
