Running with Scissors

It is one of the oddest/weirdest films I have ever seen in my whole entire life (which is only 15 years). I only watched it because of two things: My sister read the novel, and she said it was good; and Kristin Chenoweth and Patrick Wilson are in there (even if Wilson is only in it for like 5 seconds). I didn't think it was bad, it was just really crazy.

A little late with this, but I also attended an Advanced Screening of Ratatouille and found it totally charming. This is going to be a big one for Disney/Pixar. The story is really good, the characters are lovable as ever, and re-watchablity is over the top. I want to see this again on the big screen with the big sounc. Definitely at the top of my 'must-have' DVD list.

I just watched "Grease". I love the music!

Kirsten Dunst was really good with it. I also like Orlando Bloom without the English accent...xD

Just got done watching Chicago. Being the theatre and acting buff that I am, this is a film that I'll never get sick of. Catherine Zeta Jones is brilliant as Velma, and I have to admit, Renee Zellweger and Richard Gere weren't too bad either (I normally can't even bare to watch them "act"). Fantastic film! Each and every Oscar was well-deserved.

Oh, and I watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off yesterday. Hilarious, and that's putting it lightly. This film is one reason why Matthew Broderick is one of my favorite actors. It's just so...great! Not to mention Cameron is just about the best character ever incorporated into a movie! I'm honored to share his name!

Watched the original Fantastic Four (2005, not 1994, for those who wonder ) in anticipation for the sequel. I know there are many people who hate this film because of its lack of seriousness, but that's what I like about - a superhero film that doesn't take itself too seriously and just wants to have fun, and it does. I find it better than the detestable X3 and the godawful Hulk and Ghost Rider.

Last night, I watched UHF starring Weird Al Yankovic. Its pretty strange and has a few funny moments.

I saw Knocked Up at the theatre today. It was pretty good and had a few funny moments, but it could've been a little shorter.

I can't wait until it comes out to theatres. This is on my definite list, along with Pirates At Worlds End (which I still have not seen) and The Simpsons Movie.

the chipmunk adventure. it's alvin and the chipmunks and the chipettes going on a race around the world for two people and have misadventures but the chipettes, when returning a baby penguin back to antartica, discover that what are in the dolls is a huge conspiracy so they have to stop those two people.

My Mom randomly felt like watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

So I figured I'd watch it with her. It's still an enjoyable movie.

I just watched "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: Friendship Edition" for the first time in a really long time. It was a pretty cute movie and it brought back a lot of memories from when I was a child.

The Replacements was the last movie I watched, all about football. I can't stand to watch basic sports but give me a sport movie and I have no trouble watching it.

Oh man, that's one of my favorites. That's such a funny movie.

My parents and I watched Breach tonight, the new movie about American traitor Robert Hannsen. This is a procedural film, but it's not as bland and slow-paced as many are (e.g. Good Shepherd). In fact, it's downright excellent; it's a very well spun thriller surrounded around recent events. Chris Cooper does a great job as Hannsen, who was a real scumbag, and Ryan Phillippe does a great job as Eric O'Neill, the field agent brought in to unknowingly take down Hannsen. I recommend this for anyone who enjoys a good thriller and recent historical drama. I give it a B+.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: Friendship Edition still great as ever

Last one for me was Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, if only it was as good as the original. . .

Hilarious!!!!! First time I've seen the entire movie and I loved it! But since it stars Colin Firth and Hugh Grant there couldn't be anything wrong with this movie anyway.

I like this movie, but I hate how they keep exploiting it as just for preschoolers. The games on the dvd were REALLY lame. Even the previews were all preschool-related. I did not even bother to watch the sneak preview episode of My Friends Tigger and Pooh.
