Not sure if it's really good but here's a first of an actor-I-likes avatar sig combo.

This edition features James Marsden, my fav celeb who isn't dead or ancient (kind of a hollow compliment, but it's the best I can come up with).

Why do I like him? Not sure, but I think it's a combination of good looks, talent and most importantly, modesty. He's not an attention getter or full of himself apparently, but he has many talents (he can do drama, comedy or action, sing, dance and do it all well) and he doesn't get shoved in your face 24/7 by the media like other celebs with a lesser appeal for me. Some neat quotes by him:

"My wife, kids and I still fly coach -- not first-class. I think I have a certain responsibility to let my children know I am not special because of what I do, but who I am as a person."

"If you're an attractive guy, everyone thinks you're successful just because of the way you look. I hate that."

"If you're lucky enough to pick what you do, that's the greatest career you can have. Ultimately, that's my goal: to have choices." - Interview with Men's Health, May 2007. (yup, he's been on that magazine cover too)

"If expectations are low, you can only impress people. But if expectations are there for you to be the leading guy, and you've been paid X amount of money, you're on a tightrope and all of a sudden you're looking down. If it was up to me now, I would just stay on the up-and-coming list until I'm like 90." (last quote is interesting because if you look at his filmography, there isn't alot of films, just a few a year, but if he's cool with that I respect that.)

Who will be next? I dunno. Vincent Price and Kathrine Hepburn are really cool.

I agree with the James Marsden "YUM" comments! LOL.

My new signature is all about my favorite Disney film, "The Lion King." It comes courtesy of Amy!! Thanks Amy, I love it!

Yay! I'm glad you like it! I had to tweak the title card frame a bit, and I wish it weren't so blurry (it's not too bad, but still), but it was either that or it being dark...

Sorry plinks and Brenders, I've removed the WIST's in order to keep Merlin in my posts. Since Gromit's returned to his avatar spot, I made another "Merlin" banner...

Well, after 3 years of trying to get there, it was an honor to finally be there. It was fun while it lasted.

Look on the bright side, plinks. If you had to be replaced in my sig, at least you were replaced with the young cast of "Merlin" rather than some stupid WTF quotes!

Mine hasn't changed since I've been here, lol. I'm so stuck in my ways, lol. Couldn't hurt to mix it up a bit. Anyways.. Mine has BatB, TLM, and Aladdin, three great Disney renaissance musicals, and a music note with my username.. cause I sing. Plus, Japanese text that says 'I love Disney' because I speak Japanese :D . My avatar hasn't changed either, lol! Its album art / poster art for the 'disney onclassic' a stunning concert series, featuring symphonic versions of Disney music, which is performed in Japan by the Tokyo symphony orchestra. Each year it uses a different Disney film in its art, this year is Lion King, mine if from a few years ago when they focused on Aladdin.

Rowland, www.drpic.com can help you resize pictures, just FYI!

Minnie, you speak Japanese?!? That is incredibly cool! :)

Yeah, its fun! I'm a bit rusty at the moment, but thats only cause I haven't been practicing it, and haven't had opportunities to speak it too much. I studied it 4 years in HS, and had started teaching myself in the 8th grade, lol. Its my major now, but I haven't really been to school for a while, lol

Thanks! You're a lifesaver!

My signature is Ratatouille, and is signed by Remy. 'nuff said.

Edit: I'm starting to think I should have put "if you just believe", instead of "if you just dream". Dreaming doesn't get you anywhere without faith, and I'm afraid that's not clear in my signature.

I love your new siggy, Flangy! You listed exactly every reason why I think James is my favorite actor today as well. It's very rare you see one who is so humble and kind, and not out to boost his own ego.

And Amy, I love yours as well. I still need to watch Return To Oz sometime. It's been piquing my interest over the past years, and now I need to defnitely check it out.

Yeah, I still can't to get used to the way that Scarecrow looks. I, too, still need to see the film, sometime as well.

Also, Flanger's is a very nice signature. I'm not just saying it because someone else did, I like it(very bold and dramatic) and I like Marsden. Good choice!

Thank you both, and I truly do like your new siggies, Tim & Rowland! (And, FYI about the Scarecrow: he was to be more "mechanicalized" (for lack of a better word in my tiredness), but they ran out of money, so he is more basic than he was to be.)

So glad people are liking my sig, maybe I have a shot at wining that award after all.
