I, myself, was lucky enough to go to this concert. It was a blast! Lucky for me, she's coming back to my city in April and wild horses couldn't keep me away from the show!

Walt Disney Treasures: The Hardy Boys R1 NTSC
You know I wasn't really looking forward to this, becuase I was bored rigid by Spin and Marty, but whoa have I been converted! I was absolutely enthralled, really! It's quite simple and in places hammy but I was rivetted to the screen! I've yet to recieve Pluto vol 2 or More Silly Symphonies yet, but they'll have to be amazing to win the place of my favourite Treasure from wave 6!

I have to admit I feel somewhat underwhelmed with this set and yet I'm not sure why. All of the shows here are exceptional, and the Kodak special was brilliant, in fact I'd say it was more entertaining than the opening of Disney show. Perhaps I feel dissappointed becuase we're getting repeated material? Or that in today's DVD market these shows should be being released in larger box sets, rather than stingy 6 show sets? After all sets with a greater number of episodes would be possible!

The Forgotten Toys: The Night After Christmas R2 PAL UK
Like "The First Snow of Winter" which I recently bought and tooted, this is another amazing 30 minute British animated Christmas special, which again seems to be overlooked and is in the process of being forgotten. Joanna Lumley and Bob Hoskins are superb as the 2 main characters. A Christmas Treat!

Open All Hours - Series 4 R2 PAL UK
Definitely the best series. Full of 6 absolute winners! It always seemed odd to me that they never did a Christmas special. Arkwright at Christmas would have been gold! But we do get pretty close this series as Arkwright wants to get rid of some old Christmas crackers, so it does have a bit of yuletide to it!

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer R2 UK PAL
Well it's a classic, isn't it! It may be schmaltzy and whilst I don't think it's as great as some make out, it's pleasant enough. Although I do take issue with the fact that I don't think Santa, who is supposedly a jolly old elf would be as discriminatory towards those who are different, like this story portrays but ho hum!
