Hey, ToyStoryFan, I just want to say thanks for this game!
Even though I didn't start playing until the top 16, it was fun. We've done this countdown several times, but it was fun to play it in a new style.
Even though neither of these are in my top 10 favorite Disney films, they're still great films that are often underrated and I'm glad they've got a chance to win something!

Especially since it gets tiring seeing one of the fab four always winning!
We should do this again next year!

Yeah, I never thought Herc would make it!! Though I like this film very much! Mulan didn't surprize me, she's got the air of the masterpiece in it.
But I was also worried that the golden trio- The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin- left so soon. Yeah, and The Lion King- I don't think it's such a great movie, it just did well in the box-office.
Anyway, out of the two I would prefer Hercules, it's not as good as Mulan, but its characters are great- Hades and Megara ROCK!!!

Perhapes it did well because it was better than The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin?

Yeah, my four absolute favorites made it to the end! And even though I think Lion King is better than either of these two, I really wanted them to get to the end together. That way, one of them will finally win a Survivor of sorts!

Thanks for the comments, guys!!
I also thought that either Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, or The Lion King would win for absoulte sure without a doubt, and it's kind of funny neither of them even made the last three!!
I'm glad with this Top 2 though, very underrated films IMO, that are just as good if not better than the Disney greats!
I thought about doing another contest like this, but with something like heros, villians, or songs or something, I don't know, we'll see!
Just a reminder the winner will be determined later today!!
Just something funny, too -- during the Top 6 round, both Hercules and Mulan were in the bottom 3 with Spirited Away. It was SO CLOSE too -- just TWO POINTS separated BOTH Mulan and Hercules from elimination instead of Spirited Away. Just think if one person ranked Spirited Away one slot higher that round? Mulan was out at 6th, Spirited Away likely would have been next to go since it was constantly in the bottom, and then one of the "golden" films would have made the Top 2 and most likely won it! Just shows how each round has a HUGE impact on future ones!

I just hope that you're not suggesting that every movie which does well in the box-office is better than all the others!!

TLM raised again the people's interest, and the interest grew bigger and bigger with the 3 films to come. It just happened IMO, it was just a matter of time. Anyway, even though that film has a lot to tell, I can't stand a film with singing lions more than once.

I got the results!!
Which one of these films has won the entire compeition, beating out 53 other films to take home the title?
The winner of Animate: Eliminate is
HERCULES!!!!!!!
It did go the distance!!
Although many do not consider to be up there with the BEST classics, I disagree. IMO,
Hercules is a fantastic film, with one of the best Disney songs ever (Go The Distance), some of Disney's most memorable characters ever, and not to mention just about every other scene is filled with side-splitting laughter. It's one of those films I never get tired watching -- seriously.
To celebrate it's victory, I'm going to watch Hercules Motor Lights Parade in New York then follow it up with this very underrated gem of a film.
Thanks for voting, and good night people!!

Maybe Aladdin and TLM didn't make it, but it is a John Musker & Ron Clements film too!!!

Whoo! The most underrated Disney classic got its moment in the sun! I love Mulan too, but I voted for Hercules. While Mulan is an incredibly dramatic and beautiful film, it's missing that madcap Disney charm that sets it apart from all other movies. Hercules has that in spades, and it's a worthy winner.

Well, I personally voted for Mulan, but just the same, I'm glad Hercules won.
It's a fun and very underrated movie! I'm glad it's getting more credit than history has it.
It's also nice to see a very different film win. I hope we can do this again and see Treasure Planet win next time!
