Wow.

Were the recent entries from registered users or simply a wave of "unknowns"?

I just entered because for some reason before I thought that you had to get all 17 right which I knew I couldn't.

I really don't think I got 12 right though. I'm pretty sure about like 9 of them but then the rest were mainly guesses.

Yes it´s no good at all!
Pick a winner among the registered ones´s and in the future only have it for those registered members.
And also pck out all that seems clip and pasted as you said.
Hopefully you solve it correctly Luke!

They're all unknowns and clearly not from this site. I get the feeling that they didn't even view the contest page, because there'd be referring URLs, which there isn't. Guess I'm going to have to add a "Right to reject entries" clause (not to be confused with the Mrs. Clause), end the contest early, and sift through the copy-and-paste ones. (It's really quite easy to tell which those are.) Shorter contest times would be better at avoiding something like this I think.

The next one's only going to run for about two weeks, I think. I have that mostly set up.

Please make the next one easier! The reason why I couldn't enter this one was cause I'm terrible at identifying live action stills (haven't seen most of them).

Well I think the next one is easier. More animation than live action (again), but a knowledge of live action will definitely help. I've put together a page with all the answers to this contest and the number of people who got each one right. Of course, they'll have to be updated with final numbers...but I'm not going to throw a whole bunch of nonsense copy-and-paste into the mix. The contests are a lot more fun if you're actually playing I think. Or maybe they're just more irritating. Who knows.

Hey Luke,

sorry I didnt' get my entry in on time....can't figure out how to send it if I don't have access

anyway, looking forward to the next one. Oh, by the way, where can you get the answers to the pics?

Poco, you can still enter the contest...I haven't taken it down. I'll post the answers when I stop taking submissions. I'm just going to have to sift the Copy-and-Pastes from the real efforts. In fact, I'm even toying with letting those who didn't get them all right, but clearly made an effort on their own in the drawing.

And for the next contest, for those of you who don't know any live-action, I'll still let you qualify for the second prize - the big Brother Bear poster. Not a DVD, of course, but it's still neat, I think. If you can get the live action ones, you can qualify for both...but can only win one. Of course, it's going to be easier than a screencap identification in most ways, I think.

I think I said next Saturday the 18th. I'm almost certainly not going to accept the copy-and-paste entries. Half of them didn't include their address, and the other half requested "Little Mermaid" as their freebie. Gotta follow the rules.

Oh! I followed all the rules, I didn't copy and paste, I think I included my address :o , and I did not ask for any OOP DVD.

:) :) :)

That makes me more eligible to win, doesn't it???

It does...but so does having 12 or more right, like it said. I might just include those who tried but failed. There's a smaller number of those than the Copy+Paste bandits. I do hope a regular site member is randomly drawn this time. Last time one was.

oops
