Napoleon Dynamite
Hilarious, but overrated.

I mean it could be anywhere, in the forest place with the talking trees, or that place that starts with a G, like Gordrahy or something, or the place with the Elves. Hmm, it is so complicated.
The first tower is in Isengard, The Second tower is in Mordor, I think

Now, which one is Isengard? Is that the place where they had the battle where the Elves and Men fought against the Orcs?

Re-watched another horror flick, Clownhouse (1989) - Not the scariest horror movie about clowns... But one hell of a well-made film. A pinnacle of slow-building, tension-filled, creeping-up-on-you horror (and the Halloween of creepy Clown movies). Too bad it's initial DVD release was pulled- the transfer is very good. A-

Well, I just finished watching The Wizard of Oz with Mr. Garland. I hadn't seen it in awile, and it sure brought back memories. I'll just have to see how it places out in "Wicked."

I read about the
Clownhouse DVD being pulled from shelves, but has it ever gone back into release?

The Two Towers refers to Isengard, the residence of Saruman (the white wizard who beat the hell out of Gandalf in
Fellowship) and Baradur (might be two words

), the tower in Mordor that is capped by Sauron's all-seeing eye.
I think it's in
The Two Towers when Saruman makes a comment about "the union of the two towers," in which he kind of explains it all.
The battle between the men/elves and orcs took place in what is now the Shadow Marshes, that uber-creepy place through which Gollum leads Sam and Frodo on their way to Mordor (where Frodo falls into the water and almost gets his face eaten by a green thing).
Better?
Anyhoo, I just watched
Spider-Man 3 on Thursday night and luh-hoved it.

I watched Four weddings and a funeral today and the first half of "The Holiday".
I absolutely love FWAAF, it's a classic.
The Holiday (what I've already seen) is great: funny, unexpected and expected at the same time, romantic, the actors are great, and the mix between the British and the American accents is just lovely. A very nice movie by Nancy Meyers. I'm excited to see how it'll all work out in the end.

Aww.
That movie is great. Awesome date movie, guys. Kate Winslet glows and makes up for Cameron Diaz's lack of skill (which is small in this film; her role suits her well).
Jack and Jude are both great as love interests.
My favorite parts are when Amanda is imagining her life as a movie trailer and when Iris says "gumption."

I am in a sea of final college projects. It was so much that I HAD to go out and rent some animated Disney films in order to chill and have fun.

I watched Saved!. I've seen it before, but all I could remember was "I just ran into Jesus!" It was an okay film, probably not one that I would want the DVD of, but it's okay. Not exactly my cup of tea.....
Overall Grade: C

I just watched Freedom Writers the other night. I thought it was pretty good actually. When I first saw previews and trailers for the film, I thought it was a lame "recreation" of Dangerous Minds. However, the film was actually different and was overall enjoyable. It seemed a little far fetched at times, but I believe it was based on true events, so who knows.
And excuse me, has anyone here seen Shortbus? Some of my friends told me about this film, and I watched it the other day. The movie is pretty crazy, but I have to say, it was pretty interesting as well. I actually enjoyed the move. WARNING TO ANYONE READING THIS, this movie is VERY explicit in terms of language and especially sexual conduct. If you decide to check this movie out, make sure you know what you are in for.

I finished The Holiday today, and it is one of the cutest movies I have seen the last 3 years. Absolutely sweet. Although it is not the right time of the year to watch this (the movie plays at Christmas), I enjoyed it very much, and I guess the movie gets even better when you watch it in winter.

Yesterday I watched "9 to 5". It's still funny no matter how many times I've seen it.
