Hehe, at least I didn't call you Sky-Sky. :P
Sky-Sky, haha! wrote:Also I was kinda thinking you would tell me to return it and hunt down the 2-disc so. I'm happy.
Normally I would, but I was in a generous "good for you!" mood when I typed it out. Besides, how often will I see someone say they actually *bought* Supergirl?!

Still, if you do enjoy the film (or even if you don't) and want to know more about it (as well as see the elusive director's cut), you really should pick up the Anchor Bay two-disc set. It's totally awesome and has so much more beyond the WB re-release (which is all that's in red).

Supergirl: Anchor Bay 2-Disc Limited Edition:
Disc One:
-International Version (124 minutes)
--Commentary: Jeannot Szwarc & Scott Michael Bosco

-Supergirl: The Making of the Movie - 1984 TV Special (50 minutes)

-Storyboard Sequences (set to Jerry Goldsmith's score)
--Flying Ballet (4 minutes)
--Two Thugs (2 minutes)
--Monster Tractor (7 minutes)
--Invisible Monster (4 minutes)
--The Vortex (2 minutes)
--Final Confrontation (4 minutes)

-Still Galleries:
--Posters & Artwork
--Helen Slater as Supergirl
--Black & White Photos
--Color Photos

-Talent Bios:
--Helen Slater (which incorrectly states that Christian Slater is her brother!)
--Faye Dunaway
--Peter O'Toole
--Jeannot Szwarc

-Trailer Gallery:
--US Teaser Trailer
--US Theatrical Trailer
--International Trailer
--UK Trailer
--German Trailer

-TV Spots:
--First Adventure
--Heavenly Romance
--Secret Mission

Disc Two:
-Director's Cut (138 minutes)

Man, I need more money. These are two releases that I want to pick up, as well. Although I never made it to the theaters to see Arthur and the Invisibles, I still plan to buy the DVD, mainly because it's Madonna's first appearance as a CGI animated character. You'll have to let me know how the movie is!

Also, Escapay, I need you to give me some pink dancing elephants for this....

Today, I got my order from FYE.com:

Image

Mrs. Doubtfire: Behind-The-Seams Edition (2-Disc)! My total came to $10.92, because I got $10.00 off for using Google Checkout!

Thanks for the tip on ordering this, Escapay! I'm so glad to finally have this on DVD!!!
