Wow. I seem to remember this got hammered by the critics, but I enjoyed it a lot and I actually thought it was a great film!

Wow - I thought I was the only one who liked The Ant Bully. I never understand why it was trashed by the critics. It's unfortunate because the audience just compared to Antz and didn't even give it a chance.

The Prestige: Eh, it was okay. Frankly, I think it's "competitor" The Illusionist was a far far better film. It was well acted and directed, but it was kinda hard to follow at parts and the ending was pretty bogus. Badly written. And I actually felt Hugh Jackman was more of a protagonist than Christian Bale when it was suppose to be the other way around. I did like though that it's use of magic was more believeable and explanational than in "The Illusionist". But still, "The Illusionist" had a much better script and also had good acting as well. But despite that, I'm still waiting for the perfect magician movie.

Well, The Prestige does get points for taking place in my home city though!

Actually, it's up for the viewers to do the math on who's the lesser evil. There was no intent to show one of the characters in a more positive light.

I watched Happy Feet last night. It was okay but nothing special. 3/5

After watching the DVD of Happy Feet last night, I can now see why it won the Academy Award over "Cars" as Best Animated Feature of 2006. I saw this movie in the theater three different times and really enjoyed it, but sitting with the older grandkids and my wife at home and watching this movie again, and listening to what the kids were saying, I am now tryly a believer that the Academy was correct in giving the Oscar to "Happy Feet". It is really a very good movie, without getting preachy or poltical, and the music is just fantastic. All the voices fit the characters, and I found myself dancing with the kids - and the penguins..

I've always been watching that film dubbed in Greek. Today, when I saw it in English I really disliked Medussa's original voice and it was a dissapointment to me. She sounded way too calm, I think!

I loved the book and to me the movie is great.

I was so bored (and unplugged my computer keyboard and couldn't get it back in for some reason) that I watched Father of the Bride and almost all of Father of the Bride Part 2 last night. Hadn't watched either one in awhile.

Meet the Robinsons in 3-D! It was awesome! The movie was great, but seeing it in 3-D is whole different experience! The ending was beautiful. Highly reccomended.

A Mickey short? Was it "Boat Builders"? I read that "Boat Builders" was going to be the short, but the 3D screenings have "Working for Peanuts", since it originally was filmed in 3D...

I watched POLLYANNA last night thanks to my Blockbuster Total Access account. And today I saw Meet the Robinsons in regular theater as we don't have 3D available. "Boat Builders" was cute and a little predictable, heh.

Happy Feet - Are my eyes deceiving me? An animated movie with a plethora of powerful messages, music and cute [and not-as-obnoxious-as-usual] characters? This cannot be! Great movie with some subtle and not-so-subtle messages for the audience to come out with. It treats its target audience (the kids) with respect and intellegence and with cuteness galore. The movie is far too long at certain points, but I'll take this wonderful piece over rubbish like Happily N'ever After any day of the week. 7.5/10

Happy Feet - Loved it the kids and I both (they are ages girl 13/boy 14) we watched it twice

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire

It would have been much better if S.P.E.W. was in it. In fact, I would probably enjoy all of the movies had everything that was in the book. It would make J.K. happy, and probably most of the fans, even if the movies were 4 hours long, I would still watch them. If everything that's in the 5th book turned up in the movie, I would guess for it to be about 5 or 6 hours, probably longer, but I would totally sit through it because it would be what I wanted.

I generally agree about wanting the movies to be more like the books, but S.P.E.W. is the one and only thing I really can't stand in the books, and I just don't see where it's leading (I of course might have to eat my words come July 21st ) so I am glad they left that out! That said, GoF is easily my favorite movie of the serie. PoA is a better movie in itself, but GoF is a much better adaptation of the book, I don't know if you get what I'm saying!

I watched "An Extremely Goofy Movie"...it's surprisingly excellent. Goofy is so funny, and tears welled up at a couple points.
