Beastboyravenz wrote:A bit off topic. I was reading that Sleeping Beauty will use a new technology (atleast to me it's new) called BD Live technology. Does anybody know what this is?
I couldn't find info on this, either, but I subscribe to Video Business, and I got this link in an email:

http://www.videobusiness.com/article/CA ... l?nid=2705

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment next year will bow its first Blu-ray Disc titles with advanced interactivity, including Web-enabled and picture-in-picture bonus features.

National Treasure will be configured as a BD-Live disc, the format’s term for software that features interactivity accessed through the Web.

Picture-in-picture, with which a separate video streams plays concurrently with the feature film, will be included on Finding Nemo and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

...

No currently available set-top Blu-ray players can playback picture-in-picture interactivity. And, with the exception of the PlayStation 3, few BD players can access the Internet for BD-Live content.

However, all Blu-ray players introduced after Oct. 31 are required to handle picture-in-picture. Manufacturers also are expected to start rolling out BD-Live-capable hardware at that time.

It's just interactive web based features. HD DVD have already had some interactive stuff on some of their discs. Not really all that bothered with all the bells and whistles as long as we get a pristine transfer and some worthy supplemental features.

I can't wait to get the DVD of that. I don't have the LP of both the story and soundtrack of that. If the soundtrack comes out, I'll get the CD, not the LP. CD's are way better than the LP and the story that I don't have. My mom told me I don't need it, but I have enough Disney LP's in my collection. On Ebay, you might find them, but I don't need it, just forget the album, the CD is much better. The story LP that is hard to find is on the Disneyland label (ST-3948). I don't have that one especially with the soundtrack on the same label (DQ-1304). Both of these of "The Jungle Book" that I don't have. The CD of this soundtrack was released in 1997, I hope if it's going to be re-release on CD to promote the Platinum Edition DVD of "The Jungle Book". There's going to be some bonus tracks from that CD as well in addition to this reissue. Here are those pics from both of these LP's that I don't have in my collection.

I found a promo for Disney Channel's presentation of the music vid, Be Like You- Jonas Bros, it'll premire Sun. Aug 26 2007 at 9:00pm

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_xPj2_Sfr_o

The concept seems to have the boys do an underground concert intergrated with clips from the film.

I live in Calgary, AB and our Disney store has pink keepcases with some of the DVDS, does yours? I haven't got any deals for Platinum Editions since Cinderella and that lithograph sounds cool.

OMG,somebody need to stop them before they'll ruine more songs,it will be teribble if they'll be in the Sleeping Beauty or Pinnochio Platinum Editions.
why Disney like to ruine their beautiful songs with those cheesy pop singers? have you seen what Ashley Tisdale had done to Kiss The Girl? simpley horrible.

We can blame No Secrects for tarnishing Once Upon A Dream, personaly Ashley Tisdale did a good job with Kiss The Girl, in my opinon.... I enjoyed Jonas Bros Be Like You, it was quite fun to watch. As for Pinocchio: Platinum we're not too bout who's gon'na be performing for the music vid. I hope we get Jesse McCartney or Vanessa Hudgens (she'd be a good choice) to sing Wish Upon A Star.

Ashley Tisdale was good!? i almost broke the screen when i first saw that clip.
and let's not forget what they have done to wish upon a star.
i don't like them and they trused Poor Unfortunate Souls and I Wanna Be Like You.
for Sleeping Beauty-since they allready ruind Once Upon A Dream i think that I Wonder will be the next victom.

Another picture of the UK/German giftset. It appears to be different now, more like the Snow White one.
