I actually like it. It kind of grows on you. And I love the idea of every 5 seasons have a diffrent type of packaging.

Season 6:Homer- I like it, Homer is the Simpson's most identifiable character and its a new way to hold DVDs. You should try everything once.
Season 7:Marge- They can easily manage with Marge's big hair. You can't get rid of the hair, its her trademark.
Season 8:Bart- Will look interesting with the spiky hair
Season 9:Lisa
Season 10:Maggie- Will look alot like Season 9 considering they look alot alike, and must have the binky in mouth

And to me, it doesnt look like Metal, looks like a cushiony material like a foam-like substance

Does it come with a slipcover?, Just kidding .

Its quite a unique design.

I know you were kidding. Don't worry, I wasn't attacking you even though my post made it sound that way. I was just saying to everyone that the whole slipcover fuss has gotten pretty old, even if you are joking.

I was going to start collecting The Simpsons dvds, i brought season 4 afew months back but because The Simpsons were on tv so much i just figured id watch it there. Anyway i may start collecting the box sets again.

But im not to kean on the cover, maybe itll grow on me. I liked the way they all matched before but they may have that packaging inside. Who knows....

Don't forget though Andy we live in the UK, so we'll probably get screwed over anyway. They'll probably just have a cardboard box that looks like Homer's face for us!

Well thanks to the BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) we have some insight on what will be on the DVD!

It looks as though it's going to stuffed with deleted scenes and animatics!

Are you sure that's even an official cover? Why would they want to change it around all of a sudden?? I liked what they were doing with the covers before. It's not much of a big deal to me since I don't but The Simpsons on DVD, but I still think that they should of went along with what they were doing before.

I am 100% not for this cover art change.

This set will probablly be as expensive as Lost In Space Season One was because of the "coustom packaging"

Actually no, the link I gave above shows that it will be the same price as the others. I really like this idea. Seasons 1-5 have the classy box. Seasons 6-10 will have the heads of the family members. Who knows what 11-15 and 16-20 will have. I am so excited!

Not long to wait for the next head - Season 7 coming in December according to tvshows.com

Yay, guaranteed to fit on the shelf! I guess we can start buying the rest of the seasons. Though it does look odd with the other seasons, can't wait what the whole set will look like..complete.

And I'm wondering what the next head will be.
