^ That's a decent-sized article, and it's not just about how it wasn't the last trip to Endor...worth reading.

You know, I always daydreamed about a Star Wars themed amusement park. But I never really saw it happening in real life.

It is a pity that Disney is closing Star Tours. I only have rode it once, and I loved it. Now that Disney closed the ride, I shall never have, nor will anyone else, a trip to Endor. It was one of Disney's more popular rides, so why did Disney eventually close the ride? Oh, we probably need space for a Disney Channel oriented ride

(we, the true fans of Disney, had enough of DC being in our parks with the High School Musical show near Sorcerer Mickey's hat).

Isn't anyone worried that we'll be screwed over in the end with this new Star Tours?
You know what? I'm gonna hold off on expectations for this, unlike other things related to Disney. That way, I won't get disappointed if the build-up is big and the end result is disappointing.

I rode this 3 times and got everything except the Wookie planet. Other park guests seemed to absolutely love the Naboo ending the most. Anyways, it was fun, but nothing really revolutionary (light speed still only feels like you're leaning back). The 3D works pretty well most of the time - the transmission holograms look amazing - but I found Muppets 3D to work much better (a cast member says it's all digital now). I found it enjoyable but it's not quite as amazing as all the hype lead me to believe.
