Lizzie McGuire is just two keepcases inside of a box, but the Golden Girls and HI boxes are similar but with two less sides (two discs share one page for each set).
I'm hoping to have these three reviews up by Friday through Sunday, and Boy Meets World will have to wait until Thanksgiving week, I guess.
But they'll be worth the wait, I think.

They are all the same sort of cases , Buena Vista must like them (or they are cheaper

)
Can't wait.
I was kinda dissappointed with the BMW season1 DVD case , the disc holders were very fragile and one was already broken when I received it.
I read this case is even more fragile

I think you will see it on DVD. The question is will Buena Vista feel the market is strong enough to release a spin-off show at the same time as its predecessor (in this case, The Golden Girls)? I'm sure (and I hope) that The Golden Girls will be followed immediately by The Golden Palace, and then I think we'd see Empty Nest, at the latest.

WOW.
Great review
Set looks Great , too bad I gotta wait till Xmas
Disney really do take pride in the DVD's , I mean they could release a bare-bone DVD, Rubbish Menu's , No features , and sell it , but they don't(thankfully).

Great review, Luke! It was of scholarly proportions!
Almost makes me want to rush out and get the set . . . almost.

I liked the BMW S1 case, at least with that one, the dscs aren't on top of each other, we'll have to do an extra step everytime we want to watch a DVD of Season 2

Thanks for the kind words, guys! So much work goes into these reviews, so it's nice to hear some feedback.
I've just posted Aaron Wallace's fantastic review of "The Golden Girls" Season One:

i just ordered all 4 tv shows coming out tomorrow! it wasnt cheap!
I would have bought the golden girls if it came wraped up in notebook paper! its be BEST show on TV ever! if you ask me, (which no one did so ill say it anyways lol) it should be getting all the attention tomorrow instead of seinfeld! but my one beef with GG was it always seemed like they had all these relatives that popped out of the woodwork!
empty nest was, of course, the spin-off of the golden girls. they lived in the same neighborhood. blance even dated richard mulligans character. and if i remember correctly, sophia was made a cast member of the show during its last season. I miss empty nest.
i wonder if we will see... (in an attempt to refresh your touchstone TV memory banks....) BLOSSOM on DVD? WHOA! LOL

Awesome job, Aaron! Never seen the TGG before, and frankly, I've never been interested, but your review peaks my interest somewhat. I'll have to check it out sometime.

Only one of the list of new releases that even makes me look twice is "Home Improvement". I will get these seasons as they come out on the first day. I shop for the bargains and Best Buy always seems to have the best price on new releases. "Home Improvement" at Best Buy on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 23 and 24 will be $24.99. A buck an episode, not bad.............................................Ho! Ho! Ho! and don't forget to get your letter off to Santa.

Thanks for the Golden Girls and Home Improvement reviews. They were very comprehensive indeed
I received my copy of The Golden Girls DVD on Saturday. That surprised me a lot because I live in the UK and many of my US friends haven't even had a confirmation e-mail letting them know their has been shipped yet.
The packaging is a lot better than I was expecting it to be. I have a multi-region DVD player and although the picture and audio quality is sublime, there does seem to be a certain jitter when the camera pans across a room or someone moves quickly. Hopefully both The Golden Girls and Home Improvement will be released in Europe [Region 2] soon

The Golden Girls review is promising (I just got my confirmation email today)... but I have one major bone to pick with the review (although I realize it is very fussy of me). The reviewer questions why the girls are so frequently wearing pants or long sleeve shirts. As someone who lives literally twenty minutes north of downtown Miami, I feel free to say that adults here wear long pants all the damn time (some night clubs and bars even require pants), and long sleeves are not rare at all (although not nearly as common as pants). If you live in 80-100 degree temperatures all the time, that becomes the baseline of normal. It doesn't seem hot.
I have no idea why this ticked me off so much. Sorry.

Thanks for all the kind words, everyone! I really enjoyed doing this review, my first for UD, and really appreciate the opportunity! Unfortunately I didn't have time to proofread, so that explains the occasional typo in there.
Today4U- I guess I stand corrected! I've spent quite a bit of time in Florida, but have never lived there. Long sleeve still seems hot to me (as will probably be the case for all non-Miamians), but if you say so! Hopefully you're not
too ticked off... I wouldn't want you to have a heat stroke, what with wearing fleece in the hot Miami sun!
