Well, after a month-long hiatus, I've finally returned to blogging. I'm starting off with old news, but better late than never, right?

I couldn't stop reading to see what was going to happen. Needless to say, interesting story. Though I thought it would be entirely new, not reference a past book, it was still cool.

Thanks for reading! I'm glad to see someone finds it interesting.

A Wrinkle in Time is one of my favorite books, so if I would ever reference time traveling, it would be nearly impossible for me to not include a reference to it. Plus, there are references to Pan's Labyrinth, The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, My Neighbor Totoro, and Haruki Murakami's A Wild Sheep Chase.

I'm hoping to write the second part (around another 1500 words) within the next week or so, so I'll update here again.

Yea, I was also reminded of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe in addition to A Wrinkle in Time. I'm excited to read what's next, but just take your time. Great art can't be rushed.

Ok, wow, well this time it was really even more interesting. You've got something quite interesting here. However, if you want the truth, for me, I find your writing style hard to understand. You describe things as if they are doing all these weird things, like stinging the sky and such. However, this is just my opinion, and maybe other, higher literary minded people, or just simply other people, would understand and love it. Now, sometimes I really like it, like how the moon "shied" away and then turned to become furious. That was like genius.

I can't promise I'll be reading every new chapter you make because honestly these days I have very few interests, but you do have cool stuff going on, I have to tell you.

Any feedback is good feedback, Disney Duster! I thank you for taking the time to read my stuff and posting your thoughts on here.

I've never taken any sort of creative writing class, so it's nice to know if some people, like you, find something difficult to understand. Or if they like it. I generally like to use personification (kind of what you've said as things doing weird things) to spice things up a bit. Sure, it's not for everyone, but it's one of my favorite literary devices.
