I went a bit mad today and downloaded:

Doctor Who: Series 3 Original Soundtrack
Because I love "All the Strange, Strange Creatures" :) And Boe is wonderfully emotional.

You can hear the majority of both on this showreel:
http://www.beam.tv/beamreels/reel_playe ... etxip=true

And then just for the hell of it
Doctor Who: Series 4 Original Soundtrack
Check out "A Dazzling End" - fantastic. I'm so glad this music from Turn Left is on the CD. It actually reminds me a lot of my favourite scene from the UK Queer as Folk (also composed by Murray Gold).

And then, for the hattrick:
Torchwood S1 & 2: Original Television Soundtrack
Not heard any of this, but I guess "Jack's got a ruddy big gun!" (see the S1 DVD Declassified for Countrycide) will be included somewhere.

I also bought a few single tracks too of various music.

My friend had given me a gift card, and I figured that I might as well use it. A few of these songs are replacements for CDs I sold a while back. (And I hope that UD got some Amazon credit...)

The Calling- "Wherever You Will Go"
Eric Clapton- "Tears in Heaven"
Los Lonely Boys- "Heaven"

Tony Orlando & Dawn- "Tie A Yellow Ribbon"
Lady Gaga- "Just Dance"

TLC- "Unpretty"
Bobby Darin- "Splish Splash"
Bobby Darin- "Dream Lover"
Bobby Darin- "Mack the Knife"
Bobby Darin- "Beyond the Sea"
Mariah Carey- "Butterfly" (for some reason, this isn't on her #1s CD)

I just got "This is the New Year" by Ian Axel. I've never heard of him, but it's pretty good. It was iTunes' Discovery Download of the week. Those things are good! It's so cool to have options to get the songs for free, even thought they don't always feature ones that I like too much.

At the risk of being called "a communist" by a certain UD-member again for illegal downloading:

Rigby- One Song. I'm sure you'll all like it:

Hey! If you like downloading free songs legally, everyone, go become a fan of iTunes on Facebook! I just learned that you get special free offers occasionally if you do! Right now they have a "20 song sampler" available....
