PFFFFFFFFFT! Whatever! I agree with Super Aurora. That show's hilarious [for anyone with a sense of humor].

Yes, one can't be too politically correct. Then its just boring

I caught onto Drawn Together late, but I enjoyed it. Anybody remember my Wooldoor avatar?
Nice to know Tara Strong is a TLM fan. That makes Melody a little less annoying.
It's funny I was thinking about Powerpuff Girls yesterday. I was looking at some merchandise and marveling at how a show that's been canceled for three years can still make money.

Oh,so you found horrbily racist jokes about Jewish people and black people funny?

And no,those jokes or jokes like "Spongebob Squarepants has cancer" or "A door slamed in his face and know he's bleeding",very funny

those jokes are racist and you should be really shamed if you think it's funny

Uhh... not really. They may be offensive to you, but they're not racist. Are you sure you know what racist means?

You did know the creators are jewish? Sometimes, we need to laugh at ourselves or even other people so as to stay fresh and not stale. One of my favorite characters is Princess Clara simply because her character is a means of laughing at myself for being a Disney fan. So lighten up a bit.

No,but if they are then can they? look what I mean-If they made a joke about 11\9 and they something like "Oh! too bad we didn't killed more stupid American!" you"ll find it funny? so it's the same way I feel about this.
Sometimes we might laugh at ourselfs but offensive things and racist like this?.

There's a fine line between funny and offensive, and considering 9/11 happened so few years ago and many of the old wounds still bleed, it would be distasteful.
Once again, though, the TV show's not racist. Laughing at yourself is not racism. Otherwise I'd be condisdered one of the worst people on the planet taking into account how many times I make fun of myself and some of the traditions in the area I live.

Well, that's just not funny. I don't mean "it's so insensitive, thus not funny", I mean it's not humorously stated. Not to say I'd laugh at a 9/11 joke, I certainly wouldn't, but even though topics like racism and anti-semitism are by nature not funny, you can laugh at them. It's like "The Producers". Was the Holocaust funny? Certainly not. But is the movie funny? My, yes. The best way to take away the power of something evil is to laugh at it. Plus, most times fanaticism makes it so easy to begin with.
Anyhow, if you're all up in arms about racism blah blah blah, check out "South Park" sometime.

Look up "Jeff Dunham Achmed The Dead Terrorist" on YouTube. Its a great example of how we can try to take a tragedy and make a mockery out of the people who caused it all.
"Oh...A....C....phlegm...SILENCE! I KILL YOU!"

You'll get it when you watch it.
Stuff like Drawn Together or Achmed the Dead Terrorist....its why they call it DARK comedy, because it is not politically correct and it is willing to take risks.
I miss PapiBear.

the one Tara talking about is a brand new original Powerpuff Girls movie or something.
Well, I liked what I saw of it... since they turned the show around into what it was based off and made fun of.
But a new show or movie would be cool anyway

OHkay... I'm glad I'm not the only fan of Drawn Together, but this last page or so has gotten so off topic. Start a thread on it on
this board if you'd like to talk about it.
In other news, the
Ariel's Beginning page on Wikipedia has been targeted for needing references and citations. If anyone could help post some links here, or even fix it up themselves, please do so. The page has already been deleted four times before.

Which is always why, in my opinion, it's the best type of comedy.
Try listening to Stephen Lynch's music if you haven't already.
Probably eating fried chicken and watermelons with Sunflower and the new Disney black princess.

But those jokes are very offensive,if they want they want jokes like "Spongebob has cancer" or "Ah ah,a door slamed into his head and now he's bleeding and his brain is on the floor" fine, but why that rasicm? Look, sometimes I also make fun of myself or Disney and the other things like I like (For exmaple things like "In all the Princess stuff Jasmine making a bedroom look and dacne with a curtain like she's about to throw it to floor with the rest of her cloths",that made me laugh a lot) but still, not somthing rasic or offensive.
We are getting off-topic,So for those who think Marina is Ursula is disguise-maybe she's Ursula's mom?

I sure as hell find it funny, and no I'm not ashamed of myself. In fact, I'm very proud of myself. Let me tell you something, I have a few friends that have NO sense of humor. All my other friends and I joke about all sorts of topics, including each other and then when I joke with those humorless friends about something they get so freaking stupid about it, which is why no one likes them and then they complain about people not wanting to hang out with them. Why would anyone want to hang around someone who doesn't know how to laugh? NO ONE. It's like that grumpy old Magic Blowfish in The Little Mermaid series; stop being such a GRUMP and LEARN HOW TO LAUGH!!!
So again, I say to you, YES I LAUGH AT IT. Not only at the black and jewish jokes, but also at the millions of gay and hispanic jokes, of which I am both. So it's not like I only laugh at jokes about other people, I also laugh at myself. In fact, I probably laugh at myself more than other people.
And don't think I'm protecting the show because I'm not a HUGE fan of it or anything, I'm just a huge fan of people laughing, having a good time, and not going through life being such tight asses.
Thanks

Do to to to do.....
Yeah, it's too bad this topic has been taken off track, and I'm one to blame. So, as I usually do in these awkward situations, I'll make up a topic that's compeletely stupid and brings nothing to the discussion, despite being on-topic:
I was thinking about this last night. At first, I thought maybe Ariel could be waking up out of her bed, and then grumbling about how in her dream she was such a terrible mother and she was awful to her daughter, making TLM: 2 a dream! Then, I became serious and thought maybe the movie could open with Ariel in a flashback with her mother when she was very little (the scene in the clip), then waking up, only for the audience to learn it was a memory of a terrible event, but certainly true.

Look,I laugh a lot,you have no idea how much I love and how so many things make me laugh and I get everybody near me to laugh along, but I don't find any offensive jokes like this funny at all,and neither jokes like "Pink Panter has cancer",those jokes are offensive, dirty and not funny at all.
And why are we talking about Drawn Together? this isn't a Drawn Togather and stupid, offensive jokes thread,it's Ariel's Beginning thread.

I have a feeling that they film will start with Ariel and Eric on the beach and that's how it will start.
Wait, why this is called Mermaid III? shouldn't it be Ariel's Beginning thread?.

I really don't understand what you mean every time you keep saying Spongebob or The Pink Panther have cancer, but oh well.
Then we just have different senses of humor, that's all. But if someone else likes something that you don't, no need to call it stupid. To each their own.
