Ouch. That's no fun, at all.

I'm sorry you have to go through all of this at once. That must be very hard. I know what it's like to lose an aunt, but I wouldn't be able to handle all of what you are going through at one time. You're a strong person, MM1, and I admire you for that.

I will continue to pray for you and your family, even more-so now.

I would like to thank each and every one of you for the thoughts, prayers, well wishes, and kind words. I have wonderful news to report, proof that prayers are answered. My Mom called, this afternoon, to tell me that the test results for my Grandpa came back negative, and there was NOTHING that showed up in the scans they did on Saturday! I am so thankful to God, I can't even begin to say how thankful I am! So, the surgery on his anuerism (in his stomach), will go ahead as planned, on Tuesday. He still needs your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes, but, I have faith he will come through with flying colors! Unfortunately, this means he will be unable to attend Imogene's funeral. It's sad, because she is his Sister. However, my family will be there in his place, to say good-bye to our beloved Imogene.

Again, thank you all. I appreciate you, more than words can say.

Thank you all! My Grandpa came through the surgery very well. They say he did great, and he may even be able to get out early in the morning, and be able to attend Imogene's funeral.

I am so thankful to all of you for the support you've given me and my family. We appreciate it, more than you can know.

Now, to get through this time of mourning, and I pray to God that this is all of the problems we'll have for a good long time!

I'm so glad, MM1, that everything is looking well for your grandpa.

And a reminder to everyone to appreciate the family they have while they are still alive. I recently turned 30....and I have no grandparents and no parents, and only one living aunt. It is very depressing to be so young and have no extended family - I feel like an orphan. I have four sons and am very thankful for them, but am sad for them that they have no grandparents. My mom passed away very young last year, and I fear that when my sons are grown they won't remember her (especially my youngest who were only 2 and 3 when she passed away).

I do have a younger cousin that comes to visit quite frequently, and I am very thankful to have her.

MM1, I'm sorry to hear about your great aunt, but I'm glad your grandpa is doing fine!
