I wanted to buy this but I can't at the moment, so I tried to rent it last week on wednesday - Blockbuster was out and it was not a guaranteeed in stock item (its Disney, for crying out loud! If it was Harry Potter, it'd be in stock). I went back today and they still didn't have any available for rental.
And Blockbuster Total Access says it'll be a long wait for rental on my queue list.
So, I might buy it once its on sale again.

I just finished watching this one after renting it tonight... and wow, what was the marketing staff for this movie thinking? Their misrepresentation of this one probably resulted in more than a few children being scarred for life, lol. I don't often get misty at movies, however I have to admit this one got to me a bit. Not having read the book as a kid, I had absolutely no idea what was coming and it almost knocked me off the couch when it hit.
I really enjoyed this one, personally. Though not techincally a Disney movie I suppose, it was one of last year's better films to which they attached their name. I really sympathized with the outcast status of the two main characters, and found both performances to be quite genuine and unexpectedly good for child actors.
