Good lord. An actual, genuine, undisputed NON-BUDDY Pixar movie (which hasn't been shopped to other studios like The Incredibles was). Oh my word. My opinon of Pixar may be about to change.

One of the most peculiar and interesting animated features I've seen in recent years was <a href="
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Les_Triple ... ville">The Triplets of Belleville</a>, written & directed by Sylvain Chomet. The dialgoue is almost entirely French; apart from the singing, dialogue can't take up more than 5 minutes of the film.
This is a visual medium. One of the primary rules of screen writing (and any good dramatic writing, I think) is not to say <i>say</i> what can be effectively <i>shown</i>. Making a movie with less dialgoue is not necessarily an indicator of quality, but I think it says that Pixar has an awful lot of confidence in its animators to compel an audience without language.

I think this sounds more promising than Ratatoullie! Not that Ratatoullie was bad, it just didn't leave a great impression on me like Cars or The Incredibles did.

I can't wait for it!
It seems that Pixar wants to lead a CG animation revolution by making movies that defy the washed out concept of animated filmmaking. Ratatouille was the first to show us this and now Wall-E is going to make an even bigger statement.
Go Pixar GO!!

oh cool! I am reading the AICN website with the report from Comic Con. They hired Ben Burtt (Star Wars sound designer) to help do the "voices".

After reading the article from AICN and watching the sneak peak - FINALLY I am excited for this movie.
The only thing I didn't like about the preview was they used the same music that they play on the trailers for Bee Movie. Otherwise, I felt a mixture of E.T. and Star Wars excitement going on. I think Pixar is about to do something totally unexpected with this one and blow people out of their chairs.
Bring it on!
